I used to love their homemade donuts. I have an allergy to corn syrup and rarely had an issue. Now they are finally open again, I was so excited. We’ll come to find out that “because Covid” they just ship in all their stuff and can’t even give you ingredients at all. No wonder they are dead every time I come by! Another sad excuse of “because Covid” just to be lazy.

In September 2019 I bought one donut here and a pop. I sure made a mistake! I should have bought at least three lol. These are the best donuts.

I love Angel Food Bakery, but this morning was not their morning. Seemed like a lot of staff hanging out and talking while there was a line, and they ran out of coffee. Which in itself is not a big issue, but when you charge someone for coffee it becomes a problem. It seemed the only thing they could do for me was offer me a Latte, which I did not want. It seemed to be beyond them to just refund me the charge for the coffee. In the end I donated money to today's bottom line without getting a product.

Weren't serving breakfast sandwiches today so I got a scone(overpriced blueberry biscuit) it was not good. Texture was off, taste was bland and it didn't reassemble a scone. I also bought a butterfinger donut. Also not good, the dough tastes EXTREMELY cheap. Not pleasant at all for me. First and last visit. Really only leaving the review so I know not to go back.

Coffee: -this was the first lavender oat milk latte I have had since I moved to MN and it was glorious. it's the best place I've found for local coffee in the west burbs. Donuts: -the best French crueller I've ever had in my entire life -the cronut changed my life and sent me back to 2014 (in a good way?) -Freddy Mercury (strawberry iced with coconut shreds on top) was such a delightful flavor combo and the texture was soooooo great -I got the blueberry pie (I think? blueberry cobbler maybe) and I haven't eaten it yet but I'm sure it's bomb. the decorating is so cute and I'm excited to try it. -(UPDATE) exciting update about the blueberry pie donut. it was excellent Vibes: -impeccable -it was about $24 for three donuts and the cronut plus a 16 oz flavored alternative milk espresso drink. a bit expensive but the quality Certainly matches the price.

All of the donuts look delicious. Small, expensive coffee menu. Not sure how a bakery/coffee shop doesn't have regular granulated sugar for the coffee, only yellow stuff and sugar in the raw, and the kid looked at me like I was crazy for asking for it. Staff was not friendly, felt like my questions about the products were an imposition even though there was no line. The space is open and fun, however the lack of personality/friendliness from the employees is a real turn off.
