I was amazed by this establishment! The food was out of this world good. Such an amazing harmony of flavors!! I ordered 3 dishes which was WAY TOO much for 2 people, and so incredibly filling. Not only will I order again regularly, but I will also tell all of my friends about how good Ethiopian food is.
We ordered the Agelgil basket and the Meat and Veggie Combo for two for pickup. We also ordered extra Injera. Our meal came to just under $60 and we fed two adults and two teenage boys with at least two servings leftover. Everyone was full. Our food was done quickly and was obvious hot and fresh when we picked it up on time. This was our first time trying Ethiopian cuisine and we were not disappointed! So flavorful! It's spicy but pleasantly so. A nice tingle instead of a painful burn. The Doro Wat (chicken and egg stew), lentils, and collard greens were huge hits and everyone raved about the Injera and it's tenderness and yummy sourdough flavor. We recently moved into the neighborhood and cannot wait to try again. We happened to try this place on Eid Al Adha. Eid Mubarak!
Fun place with a cool atmosphere and great Ethiopian food, but our car said it was 104 degrees when we got back in.
The friendliness of the staff and the people who visit are incredible. I had never eaten Ethiopian, I don't speak Ethiopian, but they made me feel very welcome regardless. The food is also amazing. Savory, flavorful. I highly recommend!
Authentic menu, authentic customers, excellent food.I presented a special challenge, eating vegan and allergic to jalapeño. Sari listened, smiled, said, "I think the vegetarian platter." Yes.Generally North African foods are pretty spicy, and she steered around this pleasantly and adroitly.
Ordered online and the food was ready incredibly quickly! Delicious, very reasonably priced and very fast service. The veggie platter was great and the lentil sambusas were wonderfully spicy. I highly recommend!
The food is fantastic and best enjoyed with a group of friends. Very large portions and lots of meat included. Everything is always piping hot and fresh.
Bad service! Order got totally messed up by a young waitress, that didn't understand what I asked for which I even pointed to on the menu, then went back and forth with me telling me it wasn't what I asked for. But then had the nerve to ask me could I please just keep the food that I didn't want since it's already cooked and long story short I paid for food I didn't order, left unhappy, and waited 35 to 40mins. # unhappy customer
Ate here for dinner tonight with my family. We got the veggie platter and the samosa. It was amazing. So flavorful. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants and authentic and amazing dining experience.
The food is just amazing!
