I gave this location several tries as I want to support any place staying open 24 hours. Unfortunately they failed every time.First major problem is a homeless man comes in around 9 pm and sits in a back corner watching movies on an electronic device with the volume cranked. Makes it hard to study, read, etc. Plus he spreads his stuff out so it impedes on other people's space nearby.Second issue is they have an elderly woman working there who is possibly the worst server I have ever ran across. My last two visits I tipped over 20% hoping to get at least a little better service than she was offering. It didnt work. Tonight it took her over 10 minutes to get me a drink, and she got it wrong. But she NEVER checked back. I drank it anyway then sat for 45 minutes with no beverage and no food order. They used up too many chances. My business is going elsewhere.
Honestly speaking this place sucked. Maybe it was that they were so utterly short staffed. Or maybe it was the arguments an disagreements between the staff. Who knows, not like our waitress came to check on us after taking our order. Maybe she was too concerned about getting another table in her section, or that so an so took one of her tables. One employee even seemed as if he was having his own after party. We called to make sure it wasn't too busy, but no one ever answered the 6 times we called. Decided to take a shot an go anyway. Waiting 5 minutes to be rudely told it will be at least a 45 minute wait to be seated wasn't even the worst part. When we were finally sat, the waitress gave no time to look at the menus she just dropped on the table, instead had an attitude because we weren't ready to order. Followed by that was the complete shock as she threw a handful (9) straws on the table. Mind you our table had 4 people. She proceeded to slam the waters on the table while asking again if we were ready... Then just walked away. When she felt the 15 minutes she was gone had been long enough she came an took our order. Ordering wasn't much of an issue, however getting the food was. At this point we had been in the restaurant for an hour just to place the order. That's when the hour came it took for the food to come. I do wish I could say that was the end of the problems, but I can't. The food was totally cold. As cold as Jack frosts frozen heart. Half of it was completely uneatable. The hash browns my wife ordered were so hard she couldn't eat them. For her that's unheard of as no potato is ever left behind. My bacon was so burnt it crumbled like charcoal, an eggs still raw an liquid. Portions were even slightly off as well. Tried finding someone to tell, to no avail. With everyone totally frustrated we decided to ask for boxes an a check. That was a joke. I personally had to go ask the manager for a box, as our nearly unseen waitress, ordered me to grab it myself from behind the register. To end it all we had to go see the manager yet again to get our bill. Not only didn't the waitress come check on us, refill drinks, or bring us our bill... She forgot two separate items we ordered. All in all in pretty confident in saying I wouldn't be the least but disappointed if I never step foot in the place again. The only good thing about the night was finally getting to leave. Save yourself the trouble an find somewhere else to dine as it seems Perkins has lost its charm along with it's customer service.
My husband and i ordered a Double Catch with extra shrimp to share. The waitress brought it out on one platter, and no extra plate. We both asked for water, and I asked for a coke to come with the meal. Which, i never got. They had absolutely NO hot sauce or tobacco in house, though the restaurant is less than a block from two different grocery stores. And, they tried to pass off marinara sauce as cocktail sauce. When i went to the counter to pay, the guy grabbed my check without a word. I asked him to removed the $2.99 for the soda I never received. He grumbled my new amount. I paid, and he never even looked at me.It will be a long while before I ever go there again.
Great atmosphere, lots of parking, and service and food were great.I have been a patriot of this location for 20 plus years, and love the location. With the current pandemic and employ shortage, services and food time is a little bit longer, but that is a problem at most places I frequent, so patience can be a virtue and a the quality of the food is worth the extra time for me to wait.
We love Perkins--breakfast all day and free pie on Monday! The food is good, and it comes quickly (a little slower during peak times). I'm also fond of their 55+ menu--smaller, less-expensive portions.
Came for lunch with my kids, wasn't busy. Server was friendly but didn't really check back with us after bringing out food. It's Perkins. ?
I remember going here a hot minute ago. I took my mother and sisters out. An older lady was serving us. She sat us at a table that wasn’t wiped down yet, was wiping down the table as we sat and threw something over at the end of the table where my mom was sitting. We walked out after that. I was pretty upset at the service. I called and complained. I really should’ve just asked for a different server but the manager didn’t really seem to care when I called so good thing that I didn’t. I never went back since. Just thought I’d leave this review here because servers can really make or break business.Don’t be that kind server and complain about not getting tipped, haha!
I came into Perkin’s tonight with my girlfriend and my friend and it was clearly very busy when we got here but Andrew M was an AMAZING server! Has a wonderful sense of humor, is fast and very friendly. 11/10 I will definitely be coming back to see him.

The good: Perkins late night, convenient maybe? We ate the food? The bad: extremely short staffed I think our waitress was in the back making food. Good thing we didn't need refills on our drinks. Hash brown were super crispy and the made my eggs over easy when I asked for scrambled hard. The ugly: they were so short staffed we almost saw a guy walk out of the restaurant and after a 15 minute wait we went up to pay our bill.
