It was my daughter’s birthday dinner and we stopped in. First the gentleman at the door seated us alone on the “bar side?” We asked to be moved and got placed at a hibachi table like we should have when we came in. Having come from the other side we made it just in time for the drink order. There was a young Somali woman and her daughter already at the table who should have had her drinks way before us. Brianna was our waitress and took our drink orders…served the drinks. Then came back with soup and salad having forgotten about the Somali woman’s drinks so I reminded her that she had indeed forgotten their drinks; an apple juice and a sprite. The chef slung my food even dropped it on the table, and put it back on my plate. So very unacceptable and NO I didn’t make a stink about it! The NOODLES were the best item in my plate!! The Happy Birthday was special and so was the dessert ♥️ The rice had a funny after taste, my food was “over chopped” and the service iffy, the yum-yum sauce had way too much sugar. Benihana is on the other side of town and I’ll always go the extra miles to get there! #NeverAgain
Very nice atmosphere and lots of space. Two sides with different types of service. Their specialty menu may be quite popular but their Teriyaki Chicken is just a breaded patty sliced with sauce poured on it with boring fried rice.? Atmosphere ?Price ?Service ? Quality
This has become our go to for sushi, originally because it was so close and they had a decent happy hour. Over the pandemic, we ordered a lot of take out sushi from multiple places, but came to figure out the sashimi player from here was the best value, and was really tasty.We have returned to dinner a couple times, and always sit at the bar as Mike the bartender is great and always takes good care of us.I highly recommend this place!

I had the Poke bowl and the scallop appetizer and was blown away with the quality, freshness and presentation of the food. Definitely recommend
Service was amazing! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food arrived fast and were tasty. The only downside is the price, as it is a bit higher. Some highlights are the swordfish Hibachi, sushi rolls, and the tempura.
Amazing food! Lovely experience as well! Wish the chef would've done a few more tricks but, he made up for it in taste! Fast service and enjoyable atmosphere.

Roseville location never disappoints.Be prepared to SMASH together at the Hibachi though. They crammed 9 people at every table last night. It was TIIIIIGHT. Tough go if you're a bit of a space lover.We loved every minute of the meal and even got a birthday treat because the other 5 people sharing our grill were there for a birthday. Quite generous of Osaka!!
