The restaurant has definitely changed, but the food is still good. I have been coming here for years, it is where I had my first date with my husband. The tastes of the food are definitely different, but they aren't bad. The fried rice was good, the egg roll was amazing, I really liked the sweet and sour sauce, and the orange chicken was very very orange-y! A lot of orange chicken I have had has been very similar to just a sweet and sour chicken, this one was very boldly orange, however it didn't have any spice to it. (I would have liked it to have a little heat.) I will call out the cream cheese wantons a bit though. Before the change in ownership, the cream cheese puffs were the best I had ever had, anywhere. I loved the sweetness of them. These are more like the cream cheese puffs I have had everywhere else. Again, they were good, just not the same. They definitely needed the sweet and sour sauce because they weren't sweet.

Me and my family have been going here for years doing dine-in and take out and it was all amazing. I recently just had take out from here but I wish I looked at the reviews before ordering. once I started eating, everything tasted different even the chicken. I don’t know how you can mess up chicken. They do not serve beef teriyaki anymore which is sad also the cream cheese wontons use to have much more of a unique taste to them with a hint of sweetness, these wontons now are just basic and plain. I wish the new owners all the best but it’s quite sad to see one of my favorite Chinese restaurants go down hill when it comes to food.

What? Under new ownership? That's too bad. Have been coming here since 2003! Great lunch spot, but kind of dead for dinner. The food here was superb and a notch above the rest. The fried pork dumplings were the best in all of the Twin Cities and it's what I'm going to miss most - they were more like pan-fried pork bao than pot sticker. The Yang Chow fried rice was done right. I got carry-out a few weeks back and I knew something was off. The quality was not up to par and not what I was used to.

My husband and I have been going to this place for years. Tonight we ordered our usual takeout order and it was disappointing. Apparently the place is under new ownership and the food has suffered. The Mongolian beef was pale and rubbery, the vegetables not cooked enough, and it tasted strongly of ginger. The General Tso chicken was too sweet and vinegary and not crispy. The wontons were bland and under cooked. The lo mein was bland. The wontons were bland and not cooked enough. I don't think we'll be coming back which does make me sad.

It's a very nice family-run restaurant. Very good customer service! We moved to a different suburb and miss this place and the food. Next time we're in the area, we're definitely getting takeout from here.

Started going here in 2004 not long after they opened and they’ve been a five-star until the end of last year. Had the best buffet, the best takeout and always a personal touch. Even when I moved farther from them I still went out of my way to get takeout when I could from here. The food was THAT GOOD! But unfortunately…”all good things must come to an end”…and after getting take out from here this week, I absolutely agree with the last couple reviews. The new owners who took over this year clearly have taken a different approach to the menu. Although the menu itself hasn’t changed, their ingredients did. The same things I’ve been eating for over a decade now literally taste like mush to the point I literally spit it out. My cat wouldn’t even touch the so-called beef. And I won’t even explain how bad the rice was.If you never ate here prior to 2022, then you’ll hafta judge for yourself. But the NHKW I knew is gone and I won’t be going back. But I will say best wishes to Hong and her family in their new endeavors and thank you for keeping me well fed for the last 17 years!

Usually I don’t write any reviews, but I saw someone said cat even not touch it, just want to said, the menu had little change, might be a new ownership, but so far I got the food still good, the price are up little bit, but still acceptable. I will give between 4 star-5 star

This used to be our go to place for Chinese delivery. It was amazing. Recently we ordered and everything was different and the quality was very bad. Sounds like the place is under new ownership. I’m very disappointed about this change and we will be finding a new place.

I had to decrease my rating of this restaurant because of the changes that have been made (even since my last order 3 weeks ago) due to new ownership. This restaurant was one of my favorite restaurants and I would always make it a point to order delivery when I worked close by, but now unfortunately they are just another mediocre Chinese place. The Dumplings are now potstickers and no longer the substantial dumplings that I loved and raved about. The Hot and Sour soup is now pretty bland and mainly seasoned with black pepper and corn starch. The Lo Mein still has the noodles I like, but again under seasoned and bland. The stir fries are also more gelatinous and under seasoned. There is now no difference between this restaurant and every other subpar Chinese restaurant in the area.
