Friendly hostess promptly greeted and seated us, asking if a booth was fine. Authentic decor with plenty of seating and a great big skylight to make the dining area bright. We started with the complimentary chips and salsa - love their chips, light, thin, not at all greasy; great salsa, too. I ordered Combo #3 with two enchiladas, rice, and refried beans. Entree was served promptly upon it being cooked, coming tableside hot (love it). Accurate order, cooked perfectly (I subbed flour tortillas), flavorful, very generous portions - ate more than I should have for lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. La Casita consistently delivers quality and value. Definitely recommend and will return.
We went here for a birthday party. This place is a lot of fun and has great Mexican food! They gave us free chips and salsa for appetizers. I ordered “combination 6” which came with a flauta with guacamole on top, cheese quesadilla, Mexican rice, refried beans, and something else. Everything, especially the flauta, was really good! Our server was attentive despite the large crowd.

La Casita is one of my favorites. They are family owned with several locations in the Twin Cities. Their food is always tasty. I could eat there everyday!
Everything I have tried there is really tasty and competitively priced, and they put real meat in their burritos instead of mixing it with cheap white rice like so many other Mexican restaurants are doing now. The service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. Bathrooms are also always clean. Every time I try a competitor, I realize why I always come back here.
La Casita is a new favorite of my wife and me. Combination plates are awesome, skillets are beyond good and could feed 2 people, flautas are extremely good and margaritas don't fall short. Service is also very good, truly 5 star restaurant.
What a great atmosphere. Colourfully decorated interior, no wait during dinner hours and a staff that was so professional, polite and friendly I wish I got his name so I could mention it to the management.Would recommend.
The service was nice. Beautifully decorated place. The chops and salsa was good. My husband enjoyed his fajitas. Mu chicken relleno was just ok. Will come back
Firstly--a Mexican restaurant should never run out of rice at 7PM on a Wednesday.Had the enchilada platter. Smothered in cheese (the only positive), under-sauced, and the chicken was WAY oversmoked. No reason to use smoked chicken in the first place.This is the first time I have been disappointed in La Casita.
