Best place for chow mein.

Really gross. Got the szechuan garlic chicken rice bowl. Tiny ammount of unseasoned chicken. The entire bowl was absolutely swimming in a watery sugar sauce.Friend got sweet and sour chicken. It was just chicken tenders with (again watered down) sugar sauce on the side. This place sucks

Excellent food and service

Great food. Fresh and plenty of it. Just don't order anything with seafood in it, you'll be disappointed in scallops the size of a dime and mainly vegetables in a "seafood dish"Other than that , it's well worth the money. Probably one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever been in

I don't understand these negative reviews. I first went to House of Wong ove 50 years ago for Thanksgiving dinner - yes, the turkey dinner was phenomenal. Now, many years later, I have returned and the chicken subgum chow mein with cashews is wonderful! The fried rice is also very good, and the cream cheese wontons are some of the best. The food here is excellent - the service is fast, the portions are gigantic (my husband and I have to split the chow mein), and the prices are low - $8.50 for chow mein. The best? The homemade pies. The apple pie has a light flaky crust and the filling is delicious (2.30 for small, 3.60 for a large slice). They still serve the turkey dinner, along with a number of other American entees, but I have yet to get past the chow mein to try them. This restaurant is always busy. The servers are friendly and return often to find out if you need anything.

There are reasons why this place is always busy. Good food, fair prices, friendly staff & ample parking.

If I could I will give a zero star for their customer services. However the food is great. Ordering over the phone is such a pain and some of the staffs are very disrespectful and rude. Please respect your customers regardless of how busy you are.

We had the Shrimp Lomein and the Chicken with Peapods. It was fantastic and the service was excellent. They give you so much food for your money. Lots of specials each day of the week.

I love this place! I wish they had a buffet for a decent price. Their chow mein is great, and all the other food I tried was great and hot as well! I've been back here quite a few times and know it's consistently good!

Great food, awesome service, cheapprices and huge portions! We've been there a couple of times recently. I have had the Szechuan chicken, chicken subgum chow mein, apple pie and coconut cream pie. I Loved the Szechuan chicken! I requested medium heat and it was just right. It has a kick but didn't make me cry! I liked the chow mein a lot too but they put the crispy noodles under neath the chow mein and they get soggy fast. Next time I'll ask for them on the side. The pies are homemade and wonderful. My husband had a med rare cheeseburger and it was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing!
