Ok service. Long waits. You have to yell the order because the speaker has been broken for over a year. They do NOT take Apple Pay or electronic sources just a heads up. Also. They close whenever. It’s always a surprise. I’ve gone by plenty of times when google maps says it’s open but there’s a hand drawn sign saying closed. I hate going to this location, my least favorite and most dreaded. I won’t go anymore. I’d rather drive the few extra minutes and go to Roseville or East Saint Paul. This one needs fixing and updating, and a store manager who will invest in a speaker, electronic payment options rather then hiring all the kids and packing them in to push sales. It’s been years of the same ish.
I tried one of the new Blizzard flavors - the drumstick one. It didn't have much flavor but I enjoyed the peanuts in it.This was my first time to this DQ and the pick up counter was pretty messy. It's a small building without much work space so maybe they spilled toppings/ingredients there and just hadn't wiped it up yet.
Worst decision I made was giving this location another chance after being treated so horribly the last time I came here! This place will NEVER get another dime of my money EVER! Employees were very disrespectful and I had the feeling they did something to my food after I complained about waiting almost 10 minutes for 2 Large Blizzards and 2 Burger meals with fries and drinks. They were laughing to themselves while pointing and trying to hide their actions with my food. I wanted to say something about the way they were behaving so badly but I held my composure due to having my 12 year old daughter with me. I didnt tale the chance of eating ANY of the food. I threw it all in the garbage and I try and keep everyone I can from eating here. Very messed up and NOT where anyone should feel safe eating at.
Badly managed Dairy Queen. Always out always under stocked. Overcharged for an out of stock item. The one on Lexington is much better than this one.
I drove through to get a ice cream ? and it was good ?.
Normally it's a good experience. Tonight they screwed up my blizzard and pretty much paid for overpriced chocolate ice cream with almost no brownie or chocolate pieces. Didn't seem like they care about quality at all.
WOW there are so many good things on the menu we ended up getting two things each! Our classics Oreo blizzard Heath blizzard then the pecan pie seasonal blizzard and the Misty mister blue freeze. There is a decent parking lot & a couple picnic tables here and there's also a fair amount of hot food on the menu like chicken, hot dogs, etc.. I do not think there is any red meat though. Right next to dairy Queen is McCarron's park/beach if you'd like a little bit more space to stretch your legs. Super friendly and efficient staff. Plus there are multiple restaurants nearby for more wholesome meal.
HORRIBLE customer service! Young lady who "helped" us today at 2:50 PM (hopefully your supervisor will figure out who you are and retrain you) never thanked us once, no pleasant demeanor, just handed our food in total silence and then went on her cellphone. They also got my daughter's order wrong. And no, we didn't dare go back to have it corrected for fear someone might spit in our food based on the awful service we just experienced. Too bad!!
DQ treats are always worth the stop and the staff were great!
