China Restaurant is basically the best Chinese food in the cities. You get a lot of food for your money and everything is wonderful. We moved south of the metro years ago and China Restaurant is the thing we miss most about living in the cities. Now, if we find ourselves up in the area, we often get food here because it is just the best.Seriously. The best.
Classic old school Chinese-American menu items. Service was friendly and attentive with plenty of pick-up orders during my visit. No problem finding a seat on a Sunday evening. Agree that the food isn't the worst, but it doesn't raise an eyebrow or wow you either. Main dish with an appetizer and drink will get you in the $20 range with plenty to fill the handy Chinese leftover carrier box for later. Had fried potstickers to start and mapo tofu (tofu and ground pork) as my main dish. Came with a side of white rice. Food didn't arrive the quickest, but I'm never really in a rush when it comes to enjoying the eat out experience. Didn't seem like the pot stickers were made fresh to order but the dipping sauce was a wonder add. Main dish was plentiful and tasty with a nice onion crunch to it, which is a little different for me. All in all nothing wrong with the experience or food... just your standard fair quiet relaxing Chinese night out.
Very friendly service. The dumplings were moist and the pork was flavored well. We got the combination platters & the serving sizes were generious. It came with fried rice, our main dish, two wonton and a eggroll.

I order pork lo mein along with BBQ pork and house fried rice. It didn't look appealing nor the vegetable in the lo-mein was carrots,bean sprouts, cabbage. Samething for my fried rice and I get no BBQ sauce on the pork just slice pork!! Ppl of Roseville, MN have diabetes for palette, because this food had nothing to taste and wasted money!The Food picture that using is only advertisement and not remotely close to looking at appealing dish! I even tip these ppl. Worse China Food!
Great service! Cute little neighborhood Chinese restaurant. However, We drove 45 minutes to this restaurant because the reviews said it’s the best in the cities. Sorry I will disagree with that. It was good but nothing different that any other Chinese Restraunt.We ordered Chicken Wings for appetizer they we okay. My husband had Chicken fried rice and he said it didn’t have much flavor. I had pan fried noodles and they were good- I would recommend this if you go here to eat. My daughter had sesame chicken and it was average.
Easy to order what I like online, they are considerate of dietary issues, the portions are BIG and worth the price! Best part, the food is delicious. I will be coming back for sure!
Always been my favorite Chinese food places in the twin cities. Staff has been wonderful for years, seen my kids grow and food and portions are excellent. Probably stop in tomorrow.
