Great beer selection, great food, great rooftop seating…we went yo the one downtown on “historic 3rd”…50 beers/ciders/mead on tap…after getting a couple free samples to try (which they were Very happy to do (waitress said “…and if you don’t like it, I’ll swap it out…”), i chose a Mexican Honey Imperial Lager (#32 when you order)…brewed In Minnesota…EXCELLENT… My daughter ordered a burger with tots…huge burger and plate was overflowing with tots…i “helped out” on tots and they were delicious. So don’t let the ground floor fool you …rooftop was open…go upstairs for sure…we started downstairs and i asked when upstairs opened (we got there about 2pm when they opened)…”it’s open all the time…go on up and I’ll have your food sent up…”. Great atmosphere upstairs. Will be going back today again…a must if you are staying downtown for Mayo. Overall a simply Great experience!
Manager not cooperative. I went to the tap house to have them swipe my card for a credit and they said that their records indicated there was only one charge. My credit card company had both charges listed. Don't trust TAP HOUSE with your credit card. That is all I have to say.
Walked for afternoon cocktails, and lunch.Aleisha was working tables & bar, both taking orders, serving, making drinks, bussing! Never missed a beat, she served us great Martinis’s! Food came out, wings were food, also ordered pork tacos. They came out but were a bit dry! Aleisha or texted the situation immediately! Seems another server Ethan showed up, why? I have no idea, just seemed to be in the way! I would highly recommend the Tap House, great customer service If Aleisha is working you will be well taken care of!
I've been to this location numerous times and have never had an issue with the food nor service. However, I recently chose to go to this location and the service was absolutely terrible. I personally have serving experience and am normally very lenient with the service I receive at restaurants, but in this situation I felt that I needed to leave a review. First off, our table was not greeted for nearly 15min and the only time I ever caught our servers name was on our bill at the end of the meal... Never got a friendly welcome or introduction. On a weekend or busy night, I would be more than understandable, but in this circumstance we were maybe one of 5 tables in total there. Additionally, we received our appetizer prior to even getting our drinks and had to remind our server numerous times to even order our meals in a timely manner... Throughout our meal, we were never approached asking how our food was, or if we needed anything else. Our waters were only refilled once while we were in the process of paying our bills not while we were eating our food. I'm very disappointed and sad to say that I will probably never eat at this location anytime soon.
?Amazing Variety of Cocktails ?I tried the Blackberry ⚫️ Mule 《The drink you see photographed below》 and to my surprise it was 10⭐️. My husband ordered the whisky ? Sour as well as an IPA ? and he enjoyed them very much. Food was not being served at the time but we were very pleased with the beverages and would definitely recommend the BB Mule.
The food was great, the beer selection was vast, the music was Green Day era punk on the night I went.My server was very friendly, but my food and beer got messed up a couple times. He was still awesome, and the burger was absolutely amazing.
Downtown bar and eatery with a ton of character and such great personal service. Highly recommend the downtown location, the others just have more of a bland corporate feel. The menu is classic American bar food, our only disappointment was that there's only a single dessert (mini donuts). However, the extensive seasonal cocktail menu more than satisfied our sweet tooth. The Campfire White Russian was the biggest hit, but we enjoyed trying several different drinks.
3 TVs. We watched a football game. The food was good. It's bar food so don't expect gourmet. Several beers on tap. We each had a flight and enjoyed all the beers chosen for us.
We LOVE this place! The steak nachos are always delicious. The bartenders are fun (Kasey, Alisha, and Dalton), and the Tap House Chai Tea was a great new find!
The food was great. The service was on the poor side. It took a long time for our waitress to arrive, then a long time for her to take our order and a very long time for the food to arrive.
