The food is great but I’m very disappointed with their taco truck hours. They post their taco truck hours weekly on Facebook when they are in stewartville and on 3 separate occasions now, I have gone out of my way to stop by the truck when it says they are open just to get there and find it closed. Also check the Facebook page before driving out of town and they never post if they are unable to open that day. Very inconsiderate for those that drive from towns over.
We went here because of the reviews online. Small inside & didn't see alcohol, so we weren't sure about the place as we thought it might be fast food. But we were amazing as the food was FANTASTIC!! They used fresh veggies & the meat was quality. Not sure what the husband had, but I had chicken fajitas. I would definate order from here again.
Best Mexican food by far. The chips are AMAZING. The guacamole was so fresh the flavor took me back to the little restraunt on the Mexican Riviera! Must try again, over, and over, and over.....
Some of the best food in Rochester hands down let alone the best Mexican food.Most of the lower star reviews are referring to the to-go food service, but how are you rating a sit down restaurant on a service they adapted to quickly during covid.
I’m from California and am very picky when it comes to Mexican food. I’ve always hated Rochester’s Mexican food until I discovered this place. Warm and friendly staff. GREAT food with TREMENDOUS flavor!! I am addicted. Best Mexican food in Rochester hands down.
The chips are a excellent start to this authentic Mexican family restaurant...they are fresh and just like the ones made for me when i was growing up! The pico was also fresh and I enjoyed it a little too much. I tried the street tacos and rice & beans and the enchiladas. The presentation was great and the taste was also. I plan on getting the Nachos next time! The owner was there and he was very helpful and funny. The man who took our order was prompt and very attentive. We will be returning soon.

So so so yummy! The chips were hot and fresh and the soup was healing. I loved that the chef and his wife came out to chat with me! Also the soup is a secret family recipe from the wife that not even her husband knows. How neat!
Because this is not an elegant environment, costs are much more reasonable than others. Food is good, portions ample, the menu is varied and with a wide range of options. The traditional “pre-meal” chips are good, might be better if more were whole pieces, not crumbled. The big variety of sauces are good, although none are truly hot. Nice place to go that is relatively close to downtown.
So good! Pastor Street tacos were the best that I have had at a restaurant in Rochester. Fair prices too
