Good old bar. It was not busy during our mid afternoon stop. We both had the chicken and tots, very tasty. Sorry I did not get the gals name that took care of us, but she made our visit enjoyable. Accommodated our request to order a take out of Nachos to ear later that evening in our hotel room, all the fixings were packed separately, ready for us to heat up and nacho up. BTW. The nachos were excellent.

Went here for a late lunch. I have had breasted chicken in almost every state in the United States. This chicken, service, and friendly people are worth coming in and enjoying. The breading is light and flavorful! The chicken itself is juicy and very tender. I am not to much of a breast meat fan when it comes to fried chicken, but this is juicy and tons on flavor. Must visit.

Their fried chicken was wayyyyyy better than I expected. It was seasoned to the bone, the portion was hugeee and it was perfectly crispy. I was pleasantly surprised by how juicy the chicken breast piece was. We ordered a 16 piece fried chicken bucket, it came with 8 biscuits. Fries were nicely seasoned as well. Let me tell you it was a lot.... Of food for two people. We could only go through 6 pieces at a time so we had lots of left overs. I reheated the chicken in the oven the next day and it was delicious again without being dry. I highly recommend it if you are craving fried chicken.

We were never waited on and left. More of a bar feel than reviews. Menu looked appettizing on-line. Strong cigarette smoke smell in the doorway. Small place, wasn't full, sat down near the bar, heavy traffic area but noone spoke to us or acknowledged we were there, wait staff just walked by. After about 10 minutes we walked out. No one said a word.

Food is usually pretty good at Roosters. Went there and it was so noisy. What is it with restaurants being so loud with background noise? Left as soon as finished eating with friends and came back to my house so we could actually carry on a conversation.

The atmosphere is small town bar and everyone was so friendly. The food was 10/10. We had dinner there one night and the day we left town we went and had breakfast which was also very good. We ate there the first time in February 2022 and are now back in April and it was our first food stop. Great prices too!

Had an unusual experience today but it was bad enough to turn us off to Rooster's for a while. While the food was good (as always) the service was lousy to say the least. Part of our group was on a time crunch and was not listened to by our server. We were not able to order ahead for those on their way to save time. We expressed need for a booster and highchair and still had to request children's menus. It went from bad to worse when the waitress took the menus before the others got there. Fast forward through the meal and we paid. Based on attitude we opted to not leave a tip. The waitress circled the table like a shark then asked why we went out if we don't tip. When we tried to explain our decision, she said "that's just excuses" and walked away. She then went to loudly express her frustration to the bar tender and we heard it all as we walked out with other patrons staring at us. Not the typical experience by any means but so rude and unpleasant that we will choose different restaurants for a while.

We went there for the boasted chicken. We really enjoyed it. It comes with biscuits which were fantastic. The French fries and potato barrels were good but nothing special. None of us cared for the cole slaw that came with the meal. The noise level is on the high side if you are trying to have a conversation. Overall, it was enjoyable.

Amazing wait staff. Loved our bartender/server. So on top of everything and super friendly. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun. Will be back!

used to eat there often pre covid. It's bar food. The brosted chicken is two meals. it's a lot and very good. place needs an upgrade. It looks worn. The South store is nicer with outside seating too. Same menu?
