Very disappointed with this location. My fiancé and I usually go to the North location but decided to order from South since we were in the area. We got a gyro and a gyro plate. The pita in both of our orders were stale and smelled old. Also seems like they skimped out on the gyro meat portions compared to their other location. Do yourself a favor and go to the North location.
We love Nupa! Today we ordered from Nupa South since we were on that side of town. We typically order from Nupa North. I ordered the gyro salad and there was no gyro meat ?. That’s the best part! We also got the chicken gyro and there was hardly any meat and what was there wasn’t that good; ado the pita was very hard (we ended up using the little pita triangles we got with our soup. We will never order from the south location again. North is the way to go.
So, so good. The warm pita, the gyros, cannot get enough of it. Quickly becoming my one of my favorite places to go to.
The calamari and spicy feta was amazing!!! The rice wasn't dry like a lot of other places have and had great flavor by itself! I will definitely be going again to try all of the different types of pitas!
I really enjoyed the both times I ate there and will for sure go there again. I do prefer the south one though because I think it looks nicer in that one. They are like a fast food Greek restaurant but doesn’t taste like fast food at all. The only thing that would make this place better is a bar ?
While travelling home by car I met a friend at Nupa. The physical location is difficult to actually find in that mall, and both my in car gps and google maps were only marginally useful. But with perseverance, I got there. It was worth all that effort. The self service ordering is easy. The food came fairly quickly. It was hot. It was fresh. It was prepared exactly as I had ordered it. The server was friendly, and came back to reconfirm my first bites were good. They were very good. The indoor seating area was nicely decorated with 2 large nice artificial grass wall sculptures. Very little room noise echo and hood table spacing made for a relaxing enjoyable meal and visit with my friend. He will be coming back here with other friends. I will also put it on my come-back-to list when I am again in Rochester MN. There is a varied menu with lots of choices for everyone, including persons like myself who do not eat a lot traditional Mediterranean food. The chicken soup was particularly flavourful and delicious
Had a great lunch with my friends here. The food was hot and the vegetables fresh. The baklava was delicious. The restaurant was busy but had plenty of seating.
The best restaurant in Rochester. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and everything is made in house?? Don’t forget about dessert, the caramel brownie cheesecake is amazing!
Very clean, nice restaurant. Staff was friendly. Food was excellent, made to order. Love their Greek seasoning. Reasonable prices. Will definitely eat here again!!
The food is great. Staff is super friendly. Every trip to Rochester includes a stop at Nupa!
