The mushroom quesadilla may be the best food I have ever had. Ever.
Server was friendly, margaritas were good. Took quite awhile for just two entrees to come out. Ordered the carnitas burrito and the grilled chicken enchiladas. Both were fine but fairly bland and unremarkable. Was charged $4.50 for a side of pico de gallo which is absolutely crazy to me. Also, can not say it was for sure this place, but my mom's debit card had fraudulent charges the day after using it here. Would recommend Los Arcos a million times before this place.
We have not been in here since before the pandemic. The restaurant is brightly lit and appears to be recently repainted. Service was great. And the sangria was tasty. Mango margaritas were a hit with one member of our party and too sweet for others. My companions enjoyed their combo platters with a variety of items. One said the best thing was the pork tamal. (Not a "tamale" with corn husk wrapper.) Two mentioned they liked the chilis rellenos. From my perspective they only give lip service to "vegetarian" menu. The beans are larded and the rice has chicken broth. Some places actually provide black beans or another version of rice and beans that is veg friendly. I neglected to ask so that's on me. It's possible they have a veg friendly option. The vegetarian fajitas were fine. And the guacamole tasted good.Like most older buildings there is no handicapped entrance so you may need help with the doors. There are tables near the front where they can remove chairs for a wheelchair. All in all if you don't have dietary concerns they do a decent job. Service is good and food comes out fresh and hot.
Los Dos Amigos is a fun and affordable Mexican restaurant for lunch. We were seated immediately and food came quickly after we ordered. Drinks were promptly refilled and the chicken taquitos were delicious.
My food was soaked in oil, I cut into my burrito and oil literally came pouring out. When I told the waiter she said it was normal, very rude. I am now terribly sick, will not be returning and will not recommend to anyone.
Had a great meal with my father and my 2 girls. We ordered dessert, and pulled a long black hair out of fried ice cream.
This is my second time picking up food to eat at our hotel while visiting Mayo, and it's the second time I've been impressed with my meal.Very nice staff, quick service and great food, chips and salsa with white sauce too!
The order came out incomplete 2 chimichanga dinners came out with 2 in one container and a scoop of beans and rice in another, and what did come was wrong. Nachos were soggy and left an aftertaste.
I order the grilled chicken and the steak and chorizo fajitas. Chorizo was good but the steak was chewy and the chicken was dry. Service was great but I can't recommend the food.
My husband and I stopped here after a long day at the Mayo Clinic. The service was fast and friendly. Not expensive. Free chips, salsa and I think cheese? I wasn’t sure but it was good. Food was ok. It was a different style of Mexican food for me. I never had cheese sauce on my flautas, but I’mNot from this area.
