Food, Service, Atmosphere all F-. The food was over seasoned, not fresh, and portions were small. The price was really high too. The service was lackluster, staff seemed annoyed by our presence. It took over 30 minutes to get a hibachi chef at our table because they wanted to seat more people at our table. The atmosphere is disgusting, old encrusted grease on everything and is foul smelling. Ruined my daughter's Birthday, will never be back and let everyone know to go elsewhere.
Very good experience. The kids were amazed, and maybe a bit frightened with the hibachi show, but loved the new flavors.
The restaurant has old interior, hasn't been updated in awhile. The chairs by the door was very cold. Service was quick and friendly. Chef was friendly but not extremely engaging. He did the normal routine but wasn't as fun as I've had at other hibachi restaurants. Food was good. I would go again.
Ok for first visit. Food is ok, the chef is awesome, funny and great showmanship. Tempura wasn't fried like usually get crispy Tempura. Nice staff. Needs a good coat of paint, cleaning up of interior, and general decluter and redesign. Chairs had rips, carpet dirty. Dosen't have to be costly but needs updating. Food needs improvement, prices do not match taste or quality. I would try again though.
Great food and entertaining atmosphere. Perfect place for first date or any occasion. High end food such as lobster and beef tenderloin cooked to order in front of you at a fairprice. Plenty of food person, will accomidate most food allergies or vegetarian options, no plate sharing as your paying for a show too except the lovers dinner for 2 special, but you'll have leftovers for yourself or others for later. I would also recommend their lunch special menu from 11-2 takeout. Last time I got a filet, grilled veggies, rice with lobster sauce, soup and salad for around 15$!!! Crazy good deal, no where else in town can you find that price for such good food. If you have time though I recommend the dine in dinner experience. I think an extra 5 percentage or so is warranted on top of the 15 to 20 % tip standard as your truly getting dinner and a show.
We enjoyed the Hiabachi! Our table was amazing. Couldn't have had a better experience! The nice people we dined with were from from Winona. Thank you guys so much for making us laugh. We had wonderful dining experience. Now to the chef, Hats off to you! Amazing!!!And before I forget the food was delicious!!!! Can't wait to go back!Sorry to the viewers it's an experience you'll just have to have . Get over to Jenpachi yiu pull love it! So will your entire family

Another wonderful meal at Jenpachi last night. Our cook was awesome, fun, polite and a great cook. The food was excellent. And my leftovers are as good tonight! Yummy.
I'll start out by reminding you that this is suppose to be a Japanese steak house. There was Mariachi music playing in loudly in the kitchen. I ordered sushi to go. It was not authenticly made. It was actually quite gross. The avocado was just sitting on the top of the roll, not neatly pressed and rolled onto the rice like it should be. The rice was not normal texture, the raw meat did not even feel remotely cold, and the pieces were huge. I bought 3 rolls and I threw 3 rolls in the garbage. Wish I would have looked at them before I left. I ended up going to Itchy Tokyo, where they actually know how to make sushi.
Excellent flavorful food prepared well. Waitress couldn't remember what was sushi and what was sashimi, took a long time to bring our soft drinks. Otherwise it was good!
