Food was absolutely great, the best it has been in a while. The waitress was the greatest, very attentive and friendly. I wish had asked her name and I didn't hear it when she said it, she was the youngest and newest one there. The only reason I didn't give it a five is because of the attitude and the lack of respect for her coworkers. I guess she has her regulars and the heck with others.

Delicious food, really makes you feel at home. The biscuits and gravy are delicious. If you order the 2 biscuits and gravy its actually an equivalent to 4 biscuits. Not expected, but no complaint from my stomach

Delicious!! Old town atmosphere in this older building. This place reminds me more of a small town cafe with the great food and nice ambiance. Highly recommend.

Decent relatively cheap food. Nothing fancy. Seat yourself and they will find you. Had a vegetable omelet and was grateful because it didn't taste like it was cooked in bacon or sausage grease. Didn't want to risk the hash browns and they had fresh strawberries which were lovely. They give you real half and half for your coffee which is lovely compared to the fake creamer many places use because it's "shelf-stable" They are busy and service is fast and accommodating. Take your check up front to the counter when you're done. Be sure to tip your server.

Was very disappointed when going there..other times it's been fine..but I had Hot beef over plates.no side did she offer,we had to ask for napkins.. my beef was tuff, potatoes were instant..gravy barely warm wouldn't melt butter. My friend ordered veg beef soup..it came with hamburger.. Don't think I'll go again..waste of $31.00.

Best diner breakfast in Rochester. Perfect cup of coffee. Great place. I recommend the fried steak with gravy, a side of hashbrowns and a couple of soft poached eggs. Pour some hot sauce on top and I'm hooked.

Love going to this restaurant! Always great food and Allison is the best waitress! Definitely recommend visiting when in town.

Overpriced for what you get. As an example we ordered chocolate milk for the kiddo. It came in a 6oz glass and we were charged 3.50. The food was tasty, but I would stick with water and be prepared to pay a premium for the basics.

This place is one of my all time fav places in the US. The food is really good and the staff are super welcoming. We have been going here for the past few months once a week and the food has always been good. What I really like here are their pies, buttermilk pancakes and their COFFEE. I still can’t believe how good their coffee is. Try their specials, you won’t regret it.

A reserved menu with ambitious pricing. Be sure to manage your expectations at Grandma's Kitchen, lest you be swindled. The slow pace and hollow quality make the experience a bit of a drag with minimum payoff. The restaurant's menu is "diner" romantic at heart but can't help swooning when the subtext wants to spit. However, the menu's sensibility isn't a bad thing, it just works better when it knows what it is.For all its flaws, there's still something ultimately entrancing about Grandma's Kitchen.
