Fabulous food and friendly, attentive servers. Lots of great outdoor seating, too.
Overall was great, humidity was really high though
Fantastic fried chicken
My husband and I wanted a light bite to eat and a couple drinks and this restaurant was the perfect place to come for that. It was nice to sit out on the patio in the warm weather!
Five West hands down has the best breakfast in town, but what is really evident at Five West is that the servers love their jobsâand are undoubtedly the best in town!
Best steak salad around! And the spinach and artichoke dip is bomb!
The food was fantastic but the music was really loud.
Poppy Salad was very good and just right. We enjoyed a nice lunch and were able to talk although the sound was a little loud.
Father’s Day
Dinner time on Father’s Day. We suspect that the brunch has been busy, as the dining area in general was not as neat as in previous visits. The menu was “new”, we were told, as we voiced concern to our waitress about the absence of some of our previous “favorites”. It seemed noisier than usual, but the acoustics there are only fair, making it difficult to hear ourselves when seated by the windows and not at a booth. The bugs flying about were very distracting; another issue associated with sitting by the windows on a very warm summer day. This is a common problem for a number of restaurants in town where a single door is used by the staff to service the diners sitting outside. Ultraviolet bug traps might help, perhaps. The service was very good, as usual. The wait staff and servers were very attentive and well trained. We have always been impressed with this at Five West. The food was cooked to order and with nice presentation, as usual.
