Surprisingly not very busy on weekend. Location is a little convoluted to get to but service was above average, food was great as is typical of famous Dave’s. Will definitely go there again as the tables are spaced out and the service was great

We went at about 3:30 in the afternoon on a Friday. There were no other patrons in the restaurant until after we ordered. The service was great and our waiter was friendly. The food was good. Their prices, like everyone's lately seem to have gone up. We still enjoyed the experience and would return.
Better than John Handy. However the residents of Rochester are missing out on truly good bbq. I wish bbq joints who claim to smoke their meat really smoke the meat.Again no flavor not seasoned and freakin cold. Next time I think I'll just get a burger.
Dang good barbecue food. I love the many different flavors and the side dishes are to die for. I've eaten here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. For those who haven't tried their food get the sampler platter. It feeds up to 4 people so bring a friend or two.
All food was so salty that it overpowered the flavor of the meat. Sausage was cold. To top it off the management didn't care. Also was using a wash rag dipped into the same small pail of water.
Absolutely love the food and service at this particular restaurant location in Rochester. Please keep up the great work. Bathrooms are very clean, atmosphere is comfortable and the food is well cooked.
Stopped by there this afternoon for lunch. The employees were very helpful and explained their new menu to me so I could order what I wanted for lunch. The portion size was kinda small for the price I paid but the meal was good
While the food and service were good, the serving size of the pulled pork was minimal at the most 2-3 oz. I ordered mac and cheese as my side, not knowing it was corn mac. Highly disappointing.
Friendly greeting. New menu just introduced today! Excellent ribs and their mashed potatoes. Good beans. No apples. I feel sad about that. Nicely boxed to go with enough napkins and plastic ware to eat in the car. I would go again for more. My wife thinks it is not as good as it used to be.
