Heard about the chocolate cake so we walked across the street from The Hilton Garden Inn where we were staying. Saw the dessert menu and order a slice of the chocolate cake and bread pudding to go. They said it would take about 20 min so we ordered drinks at the bar but I was not expecting a glass of wine and pear smash to come to $40. The dessert ran about $30 with tax n tip. Cake was to die for as was the berry bread pudding (which we ate at the bar since it was served with ice cream)

Overall the food is always really good, sushi had a lot less tuna then usual, almost no tuna in the roll honestly. Chicken Rosa was good as usual. They have a 4.5% surcharge on the whole bill. The definitely raised prices since last time we went. For 2 entrees, sushi, and just drank water with a tip it was $82, didn’t quite feel worth that to me, and this was one of my favorite places to eat. I didn’t have a bad experience but it’s just getting too expensive for what it is, and we probably will have to stop going.

Our family experienced CRAVE for the first time on Saturday. We were visiting Rochester for my wife's birthday. We chose CRAVE because the menu options sounded really good. When we got there, Wow! The restaurant is gorgeous, the staff were kind and just amazing. When our waitress (Katelyn or Katherine) was taking our kids' order, she squatted down to be at their eye level. My girls are 8 and 13 and they felt so special. When the food arrived, it was beyond our expectation. The Godzilla roll was delicious, the Truffle fries were amazing and the Calamari was some of the best I have had outside of Connecticut. Our girls loved their French toast and the Kids sliders meal. I highly recommend to everyone. Everything was worth every penny. We look forward to our next visit! Thank you so much to all at CRAVE!!!!!

Had dinner delivered via Door Dash last night. Have to say good was great, but experience a bit odd. Went online to order and was not able to use a gift card. Also, could not do special instructions. So after order was placed called and spoke to a young lady. Her attitude was quite off putting. We discussed gift card. And how not an option. No apology for anything / just young, know it all tude. Then asked for silverware - fine, and bread. We don’t have bread she states. You are a restaurant and have no bread I confirm? Yes she states and then dead silence. Oh, divine customer service.Hubby had Wagyu burger and I had the mushroom fettuccine with steak. Both were nicely done, good portions. Meet cooked right. Only issue is pasta hunker together after travel, but that happens.

Let’s be honest, there’s not sh** for restaurants to choose from in Rochester. We’re seriously lacking in delicious, authentic and flavorful food selections for the size of city we’re growing into. We’ve been to crave a handful of times and always, always get sushi. Their rolls are amazing, great flavor and variety, ingredients are fresh and the rolls are put together so well! I’ve tried Ichi Tokyo and Ootori and they don’t match the quality of flavor, freshness, or presentation that Crave puts into their sushi. Our favorites are bamboo bite, King Kong, and crunchy. They also have great calamari for an app and the lobster Mac and cheese is quite impressive; they put at least two full claws of meat and more in there so you really do get your moneys worth. The restaurant itself is quite beautiful, the glass windows that retract in summer are really cool, I’d love to go during a thunderstorm! Yes it’s a bit on the pricier side, but pretty average cost compared to what you pay at Red Lobster or Olive Garden with twice the ambiance and flavor they could ever offer. Best sushi in Rochester, hands down. Never disappointed in a meal. Their orders for pick up are always quick and have always been correct too. Our friend that always goes with us for sushi night would highly recommend their KAMOISUMI NIGORI “SUMMER SNOW” (NIGORI) if you’re into sake. I don’t get why they don’t have a higher rating; but there’s also a lot of people who don’t have real taste that think Rochester has plenty of dining options…don’t be like them. Let’s demand more restaurants with better quality and variety like this one gives; and since our demands are never met by the city of Rochester, let’s just do our part and keep the good ones going ?

Liked it so much we went twice on our last trip. Creative cocktails, not too sweet. Awesome steak frittes, sushi, mac n cheese, ceaser salad. Helpful waitstaff. Great open airy atmosphere, nice view . Most sophisticated place we have been to in Rochester. Younger crowd, good to see.

Phenomenal environment, great food! Definitely our new favorite in Rochester.

Excellent cuisine and service!

Every server I’ve ever had here has been spectacular!! Such friendly people and it’s always a top notch experience! The food is great and they have some of my favorite dishes to order at any restaurant. I went for the Mother’s Day brunch last year and OMG MY MIND WAS BLOWN. Absolutely will keep spending my money here!
