I just went in to purchase $300 of gift cards in $5 increments to give away to our clients. When I asked the cashier, she went in back to bring out the manager. The manager proceeded to tell me how difficult this would be. "A very slow process", which I indicated I didn't mind waiting.. clearly I was putting her out so I said "I will just go to a other store if this is too much to ask" it surprises me that a 5-10 minute transaction is not worth $300 in sales? Well I went to a different Carabou near Costco and Abby was more than happy to help me and just as I suspected the entire transaction took 7 minutes. I think the manager needs some training from a high school girl on customer service.
Nice place for quick service on a favorite drink, to sit and savor it while doing some work. Staff is friendly, responsive and efficient. Atmosphere is appropriately decorated for the positive uplift some of us might use on an early morning.
Let’s be honest, caribou does a great job of consistency and the drinks are always great at every location. What’s making me write this review is the staff, there was a manager there today that was incredible, communicative, helpful to her staff, suggested and told customers of specials, and just had a great attitude while doing all of the things she was doing. Great hire Caribou!
Great place for great coffee, hot chocolate and conversation.
There are two very dedicated workers that work this store currently. They work from open to close it seems, whenever I come in there is nothing but smiles and hard work. Staff should not have to work these type of hours and conditions, something should change but these employees are awesome.

July 23, 2011It’s totally amazing how one store will sell a products and others refused or didn’t know how to charge me. What is equally interesting is the Customer Service of the corporate level and the local regional manager, pretty much blew me off with my second incident. My advice don’t waste your time going to customer service. One more thing I travel the country evaluating business’s on customer service complaintsFirst Complaint 06/23/2021I live in Florida and I make trips to Colorado and Minnesota regularly. I never had a issue with getting a Catering Box of Unsweetened Mango Ice tea, however ever I have experienced a very unusual turn of events.On the the 23 June 2021 the Caribou Coffee located in Rochester MN across from St. Mary’s Hospital refused to sell me a Catering Box of unsweetened Mango Ice tea, so I purchased just a glass.I switch Hotels closer to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester located in the Subway near the Marriott Hotels elevators, they we more than willing to accommodate me, it was a little pricey tho but acceptable. Especially where it was located.On my most recent trip which was today today 06 25 21 I had 2 store literally did not have any clue, even though I explained to them that I have purchased catering boxes before, still refused.What is really interesting is that I never had any problems with the Colorado stores.I never have a problem waiting 15 minutes to make it.Now your customer service number, I left a message and it was during regular business hours, no one answered or returned phone calls.I am a huge fan of of doing surveys and I will definitely do one on customer Service and the Rochester stores.I truly do not believe that Caribou Coffee believes in the true spirit of taking care of the customer
