Food was garbage. I Ordered breakfast. Country fried steak ( I'm not sure if I got the name exactly right) pancakes with over medium eggs and hash browns. The Country fried steak had a weird taste ( not to sure how to describe it ?) hash browns nuke warm, eggs made perfect yet nuke warm, the pancakes where cool. Food came quickly so I'm not sure what the issue was.
Place was packed when I came in with my sister and grandmother. We were seated and told it would be a few minutes before our server could get to us. We said that was fine and started looking over the menu. Not less than 2 minutes later we were being served. Staff was speedy and polite. Food was good. Grandma enjoyed her meal and staff had no problem moving her walker to a better location out of the way.
It was busy so I can understand waiting 20 minutes to have someone take our order, but we had to start building a fort out of our menus before that happened. The waitress made it seem like taking our order was a chore though.
Perkins is of course a family friendly restaurant. It offers so many food items I was actually given two different menus. I have eaten here for years and have never had a bad experience. It has a senior menu with many items at a lower price. Even those servings are so large I often end up taking part of it home. The staff is friendly. Service is usually quick. And have you seen those Mammoth muffins? Buy 3, get 3. What a deal !
Ordered Perkins on Uber east. This was supposed to be a 3 piece strip meal.. instead I got burnt popcorn chicken ? The tots were also burnt, possibly from old oil?
She gave me my check as she gave me my food....and then never came back to check on me. I ran out of coffee and was never offered dessert. When I checked out....she was at the register. She offered me free dessert...I said too late. She never offered to let me talk to the manager or give me something off my dinner. This place has gone down hill big time over the years.
I 100% understand staffing shortages, but our experience was pretty terrible. We had to wait about 30 min, which again.. understandable. Then we were seated and our waitress came to get our drink order and since we knew how slow it seemed to be moving, we also placed our food order to try to be out in an hour. Almost 15 minutes later we finally got our drinks. Well, half of them.About 35-40 min later we got our food. Mine definitely sat for awhile. The biscuits were almost cold and chewy/hard and my chicken was dry and cold. My husbands omelet was burned, so he sent his back and I didnt want to have to wait to get mine redone again or be "that person" that sends back 2 different meals. We only got 1 drink refill and we had to flag her down for that. But the waters never got refilled. We stopped going to this location.. and all perkins.. 2 years ago because of a terrible experience and wanted to finally give them another shot. I hate to day.. I think they sunk.
Excellent service;food has always been flawless and served professionally. Everyone goes out of their way to make your dining experience positive. My favorite place to eat .
I highly recommend,Quality of food is incredible, highly recommended!
Literally hair under my eggs and I’m bald and my wife is a blonde but they literally act like we put this here…. Nasty I will never come here again…. P.s. your waitress and cooks all should wear hair nets around food
