I had some higher expectations for Young Joni after seeing the reviews and getting recommended to come here. The space definitely stands out as a design that I can admire. They had the exposed wood ceilings, dimmer lighting, and open kitchen concept. The seating arrangements were quite interesting too. There looked to be a variety of different seating from high tops, to large tables, and more comfortable two person seating.Unfortunately, I didn't get to spend much time in here. I typically don't order take out since I want the food to be as fresh as possible, but reservation only isn't really my thing either since I tend to be more spontaneous when eating out. I had been to Pizzeria Lola which is owned by the same people and I wasn't sure if the pizza would be similar or not. I could see some similarities after eating it but Pizzeria Lola was better than this. I ordered the Old Reliable. It was a good looking pie but everything else was pretty lackluster. The sauce was really tangy and the pizza reminded me more of a neapolitan. I came right on time to pick up my pizza, but it was already pretty cold after eating the first slice shortly after getting it. It was also soft, doughy, and the cheese was firming up. I didn't hate it but it definitely wouldn't be something that I would ever came back again for. Definitely on the pricier side as well coming in at 20$.

Great pizza, take out service left something to be desired for the price. I ordered two pizzas for take out (Korean BBQ and Sausage & Onion). both were delicious. the only problem was that when we picked them up they were cold. We asked for them to be ready at 6:30 but didn't receive a message that they were ready to be picked up. We picked them up at about 6:45 and the pizzas were already cold. We heated them up in the oven and they tasted great. They also charge an 18% fee to support employee wages/benefits even if it is just take out, so if you want hot pizza you may want to just eat in. Again the food was great, but I was disappointed that when paying almost $50 for two pizzas that they weren't even hot, unless they were supposed to be served cold...

Came to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. Great atmosphere, food, and yummy old fashioned.Favorite on the menu: cauliflower and mushroom pizza.Would definitely be back for the umami mama pizza and to try other things on the menu.

So many great dishes! Get the Burrata & Peas, Korean Sweet Potatoes, Whole Fish, Thai Sausage, Korean Beef Short Ribs, any of the Pizzas, Soft Serve Ice Cream with Sea Salt, and be sure to grab one of their amazing cocktails in the back bar.

Never have I experienced a manager as rude and Unprofessional as Brandon Sass, I hope in the future they can find New management. My recommendation would be to order pizza to go.

This a fantastic date night spot.We showed up 5 minutes before opening time at their speakeasy. We were let in a couple of minutes after the posted opening time. Beautiful ambiance, love the glasses they use to serve drinks in, and the decor in general. The staff were fun, and easy to talk to. They even exchanged a drink for us, when it was decided it was not liked! The Korean pizza is a must here.

It’s a trendy casual bar-style dining with great Korean- themed fusions including Pizzas.Dining reservations can not take 6, so we settle for bar seating instead. Bar is on first-come-first-served and it was chaotic since there was no attendant at the door. We had to come in and remind waiter, and he was kind to save seats for us..The decor was unique blends of vintage and new.We ordered several types: Bibimpap (rice, veggie, meat), cauliflower, short ribs, pizzas, and all are delicious . Our server was very friendly and helpful.

We were able to snag a last minute table one night and had a magnificent time. The food and service were both impeccable. Ann Kim and her staff have created a delectable dining experience in a comfortable, romantic setting. The carefully crafted cocktails are quite balanced. The pork belly starter is one of the most unctuous applications of pork belly I've had. This is a place to step out of your usual pizza box and try something new. There are so many unique combinations to taste. You can get a plain pizza somewhere else. No matter what pizza you choose, your tastebuds will be in for a treat.

Definitely going here again. I made a reservation for my friend and I and I would recommend it because it looked busy when I got there. Lovedddd the butter under the sweet potatoes. So addicting. The Thai sausage was ugh ???so good. I’d definitely do two orders of that. Haha. Forgot to take a photo of the kbbq pizza. It was good but I feel like it could’ve used something more to pull it all together. Overall my friend and I really enjoyed the atmosphere, plates (they’re so cute and quirky!), the menu and the servers we had.

Great spot for a night out near downtown. The bartenders are very creative and can whip up any flavors your might be craving. Their menu drinks are just as good and worth the try. The pizzas are probably the best in town. They’re big enough to share for two, but why not try two. It’s gets very busy very quickly. I recommend reservations or trying backbar, which is first come first serve. It’s a little bit pricey, which is why I gave it the 4 stars, but I thinks it’s great for a date night.
