Never have I experienced a manager as rude and Unprofessional as Brandon Sass, I hope in the future they can find New management. My recommendation would be to order pizza to go.

The cocktails were "so so." The Bottineau was "okay," but a bit bitter on the finish. The Sling was, again, "okay"--but not something I'd re-order. The Korean beef ribs were really tasty, but the Umami Mama was too salty. Service by Sean was attentive and excellent.

Outstanding service and pizza! Get the Korean BBQ you will not be disappointed!

Appetizers and deserts were exceptional. Pizzas were creative--but, IMHO, the crust was nothing special. Service was S L O W. And overpriced for what it was.

As a chef I am more technically critical than most. It is common for places like this to be hyped by their status. I find that Minnesota diners have lower expectations of actual quality which leads to restaurants reputations to be bloated. This was my experience at Young Joni. The food was interesting and had perhaps more flavor, but did not match the hype. The short rib pizza is supposed to be topped with Baby arugula tossed with hot soy dressing. It had almost no heat at all and the few chunks of short rib were tough. The Korean sweet and spicy spare ribs were cooked perfectly and did have nice heat The much hyped cauliflower was good but is now just the next over served hum-drum trendy dish. The Bosque pizza was tasty but greasy as in grease running off the pizza. ( from the Spanish chorizo) Desserts were completely lacking any creativity. The apple crisp was good but not outstanding. A James Beard chef’s restaurant should have outstanding food to match. Our server was excellent in every way but when we asked about Ann Kim she said that she’s never there cooking in the kitchen but makes appearances a few times a month! Maybe if chef Kim was more involved she would be aware of her restaurants shortcomings.

The atmosphere was great! It was very busy and packed, but the atmosphere is pretty and it's cozy. The drinks from the bar were excellent and the food was as well. We had the cauliflower as an app and between the 5 of us we all loved it. We then ordered 3 pizzas to share. The Korean BBQ was our favorite followed by the Broccolini then the sausage and onion. Make sure you make reservations a head of time.

Great atmosphere, great drinks, fabulous food!!!

Prepare for a life-changing experience IF you try the Thai sausage. My husband and I didn’t have a reservation, so we “settled” for the chef view seats by the employees where we can watch them cook. This was an awesome perspective. We watched them make both the cauliflower and the Thai sausage that we would enjoy as “appetizers”. I have to say we were transported to another world as we dug into the Thai sausage lettuce wraps. This is a busy place so I recommend a reservation but even if Resy or open tables fail you, still try. When I say life-changing experience I am not kidding. GO HERE. WAit as long as you have to.

We had dinner here, ordered salad, beer, and pizzas. Restaurant is busy with a nice and lively atmosphere. The Bibim grain salad was great. There were interesting options for pizza flavors, however pizzas that they delivered were wet in the middle and limp. So wet that a slice could hardly be eaten even folded. Poor execution of the pizza. Service initially great, and then slowed down significantly. About 45 minutes to get a pizza. We didn’t have dessert, but noticed that its soft serve icecream, which is odd. Go here for hip atmosphere, but go elsewhere if you are looking for a good pizza.

We selected the "La Parisienne" and "Umami Mama" pizzas and could not have been more delighted! Despite a packed house and no reservation, we only had to wait long enough for one lap around the block (on a gorgeous October evening) before they texted our table availability.. with the caution that they needed our location for a reserved party... some two-and-one-half hours later! Needless to say, we finished in less than half that time, despite lingering long enough to savor every delicious morsel! The entire waitstaff was affable and attentive, not only for our table but for all those we observed during our visit. Highly recommended: We'll be back, most decidedly!
