This was a truly authentic experience and all the food tasted amazing! Prices were a little bit on the expensive side, but food quantities were larger than we expected. As a vegetarian, there are many tasty options! As for parking, it was very limited parallel, but we managed to find some nearby.

The food was very, very good...especially the lamb. I loved everything! Great service!

Stopped here before a show at Varsity Theater. It was buzzing with college kids which made it feel lively. The food was a really good value(understand why the college kids where there!), but it was also really good food as well. Portions were large, especially considering the fair prices. If you're in the area and looking for something light and fresh...this is your spot! The garlic sauce included with a couple of our meals and the falafel was incredible.

Absolutely delicious! There’s a nice variety of options on the menu, and everything I tried tasted great! It’s a nice little place to sit down and have lunch. Highly recommend!!

I'm pretty sure my husband and I singlehandedly kept this place open during the pandemic when we lived in Minneapolis. We LOVE Wally's. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and no raise in prices is going to prevent us from supporting one of our favorite local restaurants! Supply chain issues are no joke, and we got to see firsthand how hard this team worked to stay in business during one of the hardest hits to the restaurant industry EVER. Can't wait to come back!

I hate to leave a 1-star review, but considering I ate MOLD, I think it's fair. I came here for the first time last year and had a good experience, but after today i will not be returning. I paid $18 in food (the lala plate and a side of fries). Why has the pricing gone up but the quality gone down significantly? I was snacking on the fries in the car and had eaten nearly all of them when I bit into one that tasted funny. I kept chewing and realized it was not normal. The taste was so bad that I literally spit out the rest of the fry and chugged water. It was dark outside, so I turned on my flashlight and saw the fry had something black and slightly blue in it. I found two other fries with the same coloring and realized I had literally eaten mold. As much as I love middle eastern food, I don't love it enough to risk eating moldly food. There are other mediterranean places with fresh quality and fair prices. I threw the fries out immediately, and unfortunately, I don't know that I'm confident to finish my schwarma plate either. The bites of chicken I did taste were extremely dry and tasted as if they were at least several days old. How do I know it doesn't have mold in it too? If I am going to spend $18 on food, I at least want to be able to eat it!!

The service was very friendly and actually quite good, everyone was very helpful and the food was brought out relatively quickly. The chicken shawarma was dried out and tasteless, the hummus very fresh and had absolutely no flavor. The pita bread was fresh and tasty, at least something was palatable. I cannot say how disappointing it was, it was beyond tasteless, it was just not good. I have had very good middle eastern food in this city. Really try another place.

Wally’s doesn’t seem that different from a lot of places that serve Middle Eastern food, but it just tastes much much better. I never get a gluey, weird tasting falafel. The sauces are all great. Rice is fantastic. The koftas are well seasoned and prepared. It’s just good. Everything I’ve ordered makes you look forward to going back.My only gripe is that everything here is disposable and there’s so compost (despite Minneapolis ordinances). Also, the chicken is dry.

Never had the food from this place and the only reason I could ever be sad is because I didn't have it sooner. PHENOMENAL food. 1000% can't wait to try anything else off the menu.

*Honest Review*Shawarma did not have any garlic sauce in it, and saj bread was cooked to dry. When I asked for sauce it was a dollar for a small sauce pack.Chicken musahab great tasting wrap but had lots of rice which I expected more of a salad/fries for a wrap.Falafel deluxe great tasting sandwich but was served cold for the majority of the sandwich (everything except for the falafel)Tabouli salad plate good taste but had a full bottom layer of lettuce which shouldn't be the case. Should be a full plate of ground parsley and other ingredients but definitely not lettuce. (image attached)Overall was disappointed since I heard a lot about them. There are other better places around the city.
