The service is always exceptional at Vo's, with special kudos to Constantine. The portions are generous, drinks are inexpensive, and there are tons of vegetarian and vegan options. People who make negative comments on the decor have obviously never been to Vietnam. The decor is authentic instead of trying to pander to the suburbanites.
Very glad to have this place in the neighborhood. Great food, friendly service. Fantastic for both dine-in and takeout.
Their pho is delicious. ?The egg rolls were crispy and tasty. And the beef brochette was great.Prices are very reasonable.Definitely worth checking out!
There is only one option for beef pho, which had what seemed to be previously-frozen overcooked beef knuckle, no option for bright red rare brisket, or round eye steak, as you might be offered at other Vietnamese restaurants. The broth and noodles were just ok. I would avoid ordering beef pho if you decide to go here. The booth seating does offer a very impressive amount of privacy and mood lighting if you’re out on a hot date there.
First time here. I think it’s great if you’re vegetarian or vegan to eat at this location. We went during lunch time on a Sunday. There was nobody there. Very quiet. The decor sucks. Very outdated, weird, they should update it. It’s very dark too.My bf got the lunch special chicken curry.I agree with what another person said-The lunch “specials” are really only less expensive because the portions are smaller, so not a benefit for the customer. So keep that in mind. There is only one pho option which I got lol.I got the bbq beef and it was one of those meat platters at typical Vietnamese restaurants. The meat is SO thin. Do NOT get it. Honestly waste of my money for how little I got.I’m probably never going again, I think there’s other Vietnamese places out there. I would never recommend it to my family or friends, but give it a try if you’re vegan or vegetarian.
One of the most vegetarian-friendly Vietnamese places around, and one of the tastiest, too. Lemongrass chicken and anything w BBQ pork are personal favorites.Be prepared for a wait if you're ordering during peak hours.
Vo's pho is amazing and tasted like the broth had been simmering for 24 hours (I hope it did lol). I also tried their steamed dumplings and fresh spring rolls but both were a bit underwhelming. I'd recommend sticking with pho. I'd love to try their banh mis as well! A word on service: While the server stopped by our table on a regular basis he seemed to be speaking to and looking at my male company only. Is this the 1950s??
Pho was good and flavorful. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We also had the chicken curry lunch dish and honestly the chicken was overcooked. But the curry itself was good.
Good food and good prices! The service is good and the interior decor is cool and relaxing. The lunch specials are hard to beat. I personally like the pork banh mi.
Very attentive & courteous service. Food was great. Vibrant and charming atmosphere.
