Food was fantastic and service was super prompt and attentive
Sunday at 4 p.m. was perfect for a little social distance indoors. Food was UE wonderful. Service was attentive, kind. Our out of town guests were impressed.
The food and the service is outstanding. Lesley our server is awesome and the host gentleman is very sweet. The only complaint I have is the parking.

The food: nice ambience, good service. The bad: food was ridiculously over-priced, extremely mediocre, and very inadequate. We all came home and had a second dinner. The grilled chicken salad for about 17 bucks was a few lettuce leaves with a bit of indifferent tasting chicken. The root vegetable salad weighed no more than a feather. Taste was the quality of a supermarket salad bar, quantity was negligible. Walked out with a 133 dollar bill (with tip) for three salads, one order of chicken wings, two desserts, a beer and a coffee. And everyone was still hungry. Wonât waste our time or money again. Parking is a big issue as well, by the way.

We went to Urban Eatery for brunch. They have a great brunch menu and the best Bloody Mary in town.
Great food, good prices and great service! The salads have micro greens, nuts and are so good! Truffle fries are amazing too! Good drink selection too!
We remarked as we ate that Urban Eatery is consistently excellent. We have always been treated with professionalism and respect by the owner, the bar staff and servers. The food is consistently delicious and surprising (borscht! Shakshuka! Ceviche.) Everything from burgers to salads to entrees is fresh, well-prepared and accessible. The outdoor dining spot overlooks Lake Calhoun, so it is a great place to take out of town guests. The drinks are yummy (try the grapefruit mimosa) and the ambience is casual and comfortable. This is an every-day dining kind of place, but I wouldn't hesitate to take a friend or client here for a meal.
