Not as magical as it used to be when I was little. I haven't been here for Years, but I grew up at this little hole in the wall. I spent many school trips, birthday parties, league tournaments, and Sunday fun day's here. Recently I bought a summer bowling pass, so we tried it out. The renovations they did were nice and some areas. The lanes were lacking though. I despise having to share a table and bench with strangers. In addition, you also share a screen. The venue was packed and a couple knocked over our drinks. The food was super good though. The server tried to charge us for bowling despite my Groupon. I'm glad my husband caught that. Idk not bad, but also not super great. Park tavern is better!

Love the atmosphere. Great quality bench seating with storage under the seat. Bowling was almost flawless with a few pin screw ups but nothing major. Great service!

A quaint place that is an excellent addition to south Minneapolis.Great place to bowl for fun and I noticed they do trivia here too and the host seemed very energetic!Food was a bit pricey but was good for bowling food!

The lanes was great. A bit pricey but worth the good drink and foods along with the bowling. Good service too. My only deduction was that the main restaurant part wouldn't serve us after we finished bowling and sat down. The bowling side was full and restaurant side was relatively empty when we sat down after bowling so someone else could use the lane and we could finish our drinks. Since we sat down at the restaurant part, I wanted to order something else like another drink or appetizer but no one came so we just left.

Awesome service and dare I say the best pub pretzel I have since being in Germany. I’m just gonna say it, it was probably the best pretzel I have had in Minnesota. Bowling alley is great and fun for the whole crew, rotating taps are great, service is excellent. Even if you have the crew that spills everything, they got you covered.

Had a great time and enjoyed great food with friends and family. Went for my son's birthday and it was the first time my daughter had been bowling, she had so much fun. Glad they have a way to raise/lower the bumpers per person!

Great food up and down the menu. A whole slough of rotating beers from their brewery and other micros. One of the best bourbon/whiskey lists in town. Always great service.

I have to say that I had such a marvelous experience what my stats lacked in rank the ambiance of this fantastical local hidden gem of an establishment made up for in energy! I had so much fun, and the friendly and attentive staff were all so welcoming, I truly felt like family! It's so amazing when you are free to just enjoy the atmosphere and be your true self and not only that, but are worthy of insider bowling tips and guidance from the pros! So thankful and appreciative could not have imagined a greater experience! I'm definitely all the richer with this joyful experience under my belt would highly recommend!

It's been hit and miss for a while. But more recently it's been consistently "miss". They've dumbed down the menu over the years (remember the lamb, curry, and blue cheese burgers?), but still fail to deliver anything presentable for the basics. Burgers, fried chicken, etc. are all dry, overcooked, poorly assembled, etc.I've been trying to convince myself to like them, because they're so close by, and the place has a nice vibe. But I've had too many bad experiences there now. Bummer.

We have been going here for many years. Great food (the fries are to DIE for), fun location, and one of the best old fashioneds out there. Bowling is always a good time.
