We have been to Sonder Shaker twice in the past month. Each time the service experience has been very good. Friendly wait staff. The Wagu burger is one of the best in town. Simple double smashed patties with American cheese, pickles and their Sonder sauce. Try the pork wings (I guess pigs do fly). Dry rub is my favorite, but the Peach BBQ is very good as well. Interesting cocktail selection.

Birthday dinner with my family. Started off with appetizers, Brussels sprouts which were excellent and short ribs. For dinner we chose 2 burgers, 2 jalapeño pesto pasta and 1 skirt steak with mushrooms. Everyone was extremely happy with their choices. Fancy drinks were ordered and beautifully presented. Dessert was a must, we ordered the Banana split with banana bread and homemade strawberry sauce and chocolate mousse. They also gave me a large piece of chocolate cake with sprinkles. Happy birthday to me !!Thank you for a very nice evening!!

One of our favorite restaurants not just in Northeast, but in all of Minneapolis! The vibe is great, drinks are good, and every single thing we've ordered for food has been fantastic. Pork chop - fire! (But sadly not on the menu anymore.) Brussels sprouts are amazing. Fries are a must. Jalapeño pesto pasta is unique, and great! And I saved the best for last - get the burger. One of the best in the city!

Just had a staff happy hour ( that lasted about two hours!) that was so much fun! Great service, great apps and beverages and just a wonderful place! Haven't been in for a while due to Covid and it was GREAT to be back! A true gem in the neighborhood! Thanks, Sonder Team!

Happy hour has some worthwhile deals, but service was slow on a Monday at 5 oclock. $8 brisket fries were mostly tastey, but I got a really fatty portion of meat. "Delilah" cocktail tasted a bit soapy due to the rose flavor. Good atmosphere, I would give it another try but today was just a 3 star visit.

Very disappointing. After making a reservation, still had to wait. When finally seated, 2 servers kept circling our table without stopping, had to talk to the host to get service. The food was also extremely disappointing. The crabcakes, thin deep fried patties, tasted like the cardboard box they came out of. The walleye looked and tasted bland. The shrimp and grits were bland, and tiny shrimp. Was told they would be butterflied on the grill, definitely grilled but again small and right out of a frozen bag, definitely not fresh or even large enoughto be butterflied. Save your $100+ and find another place for food. Actually had to go somewhere else to have dinner. Doubled our cost for a nice dinner out. Let's end on a positive, the old fashioned was delicious, hats off to the bartender.

A very cool and relaxing place to eat. Totally recommend trying this place to eat. Great times!

For the oysters, photos added. The baked cheese masked the caviar and was a bad pairing. It was also priced at about triple to four times what it should have been.I hear this place is good on normal nights, avoid on nights that require reservations or Holidays and weekends. They ran out of food on a reservation only Valentines night? and only let us know after 2 hours/after we ordered our food.Trust me you don’t want to be here when things hit the fan. Avoid busy nights like the plague.*Update, they did provide a gift card refund. I appreciate that and have updated the review. Still ruined valentines day with my SO but respect the response.

Loved all the drinks here and food was really good too. Happy hour is the best time to come. The wait staff is awesome too!!!

Absolutely amazing burgers. I've gone a few times and accidentally had to get something else - brunch when I got a great chicken and waffle, a Monday night where they had delicious ramen. On days they have burgers though, I'm not getting anything else.Staff is great too. Brandon comped us a free entree the last time we were there and gives great drink and food recs. Going to keep coming back and bringing new people with :)
