As always, a great selection of fresh seafood, well prepared.
Delicious old fashioned with Guinness Stout reduction syrup for me; spiced pear mule for my bride. Huge fresh oysters followed by a wonderful beet salad with fresh greens pecans and blue cheese. My wife let me taste her clam chowder and it did not disappoint. Chicken fried lobster with hot sauce over cheesy grits was yummy. I had possibly the best fish dish Iâve every had. A rubbed pan seared Chilean sea bass with mango over broccolini melted in my mouth and I was sad to take the last bite. I couldâve licked my plate if my mother hadnât taught me better! Our wine was a Kim Crawford Sauvignon blanc from New Zealand. A memorable meal for sure. Brad was an excellent waiter and his suggestions were spot on.
The service was great. Our waitress suggested some drinks and we enjoyed those. She also had great knowledge of food allergies(my wife has Celiac) and suggested 2 very delicious options that we both loved. She also made sure the cooks knew about her allergy and made some accommodations that let my wife enjoy some of my meal also(we shared). Overall, terrific service and unbelievably delicious food. That being said, I do have to say it was a little pricey. But we didnât care because it was such a great overall experience.
We've been going to Oceanaire for years and usually big celebrations. The food and service were impeccable, but considering it was a birthday celebration was disappointed with being seated in the bar area. The restaurant wasn't 1/2 filled so we lost the ambiance. Disappointed with the hostesses selection of where we should go.
The food was delicious, but the best part about the experience was our server. She was a attentive and amazing. Probably the best service Iâve ever had in any restaurant.
Birthday dinner
Wonderful food! Went for our anniversary and our menus had our name printed on them along with happy anniversary. We had Doug as a server and he did an exceptional job! He knew the menu and made suggestions based on our preferences. He took lots of time educating us on oysters. We had oysters, clam chowder, a live Maine lobster, a trio of shrimp, crab cake, lobster tail and asparagus. We had sides of creamed corn and lobster and crab Mac and cheese. Finished with baked Alaskan as a gift from the restaurant. The crab cake, clam chowder, and Mac and cheese were some of the best we ever had! They prepared and shelled the Maine lobster for us so that was very nice also. Highly recommend! If you are lucky to have Doug as your server- you will have a memorable dining experience!
Excellent in all aspects. Anthony, our server, was appropriately engaging. We had a birthday in our group and the recognition on the menu and the birthday dessert was much appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend for a special night out.
I had a reservation of a party of 6. We were seated & assisted by our waiter right away. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful and calming. Medium noise level but also very close seating so it worked out. Food and drinks were amazing and exceeded my expectations! I had the grilled oysters, which I highly recommend, king crab legs, raw oysters and and crab cake. Chefs kiss. I would strongly recommend this place to any friends and family.
Service was tremendous. Food was expensive but absolutely perfect!
