The front door staff were super nice. The wait person was definitely tired. It was a day baseball game so no judgement there. Food itself, hot ham and cheese, was actually pretty good. Marking okay as the general place was a bit dingy and the men's room was disgusting. Glad I ate before I used it as I would not want to touch my food even after washing. I'd go back but I'd think twice about where to sit and to use the bathroom
Normally the place is great!! But the service last time missed the mark. We ordered cheese curds to start and then entrees. The dinner came out and we said we didn’t get our appetizer and she just said oh I’m sorry. Didnt offer anything up, just moved right on. Then we said all three of us are celebrating our birthday and she just said oh here’s our desserts. In my experience working in restaurants, when you totally miss an appetizer you do something. We had a $6 beer - offer to comp that or do something. Three birthdays and you don’t even say happy birthday or talk about birthday dessert? The lack of hospitality and making anything special does not make me want to come back here. There are plenty of other restaurants with nice servers who take their time and make your experience special - especially for three birthdays/ anything you are choosing to celebrate at their establishment.
Nice local bar, great staff and ownership. Very busy night due to activities downtown that day, so you had to be patient. Server forgot several drinks and rang things in on wrong on tabs but then flipped out when someone at our table was leaving with us without paying. We caught them and paid out but we were respectful. You just to be patient with everyone these days, both customers and servers. She was good.
The waitress was amazing but the first of was disgusting. I ordered the southwest egg rolls and there was nothing southwest about them. They were stuffed with black beans, no corn, cilantro, devoid of anything green I was disgusted
Came after a Twins game and they were still serving food which was great. The burgers were really good and the atmosphere was fun. Our server was awesome and very friendly! Would come back!
Best spot to get food before a game downtown.Combo of high quality service and good layout. Also home of the best worst drink in all of downtown. Get a Grape Ape, you'll only kind of regret it =)
Fast friendly service! Always love the Loon!
My photo does not do this chili justice. So good. Not sweet, which I find a lot of places in minnopolis add sugar. Diablo chili with outstanding service has made me definitely want to come again.
love the food, drinks and staff is awesome! also, home of the Grape Ape!
Crazy busy for the Wolves playoff game. staff wass attentive, courteous, and efficient. slight waits but nothing outrageous.
