So good to see this place thriving. Great brunch spot. Enough items to satisfy a 3-year old - get sides of bacon, fresh fruit, and banana bread - done. The Kenwood burger is a protein hit - get some ketchup to add some sass. The steel cut oats was easy, spot on, and tasty with brown sugar and blueberries, but ask for some Maple syrup. The basic breakfast is solid, the paoched eggs were perfectly prepared - huge win. Some easy cocktails, good coffee and solid lattes. Always a happy face after eating!

I loved almost everything we ordered here. The menu seems to be a bit Italian inspired and quite seasonal. The fresh corn soup is one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. Absolutely delicious! Pasta with kale was great, though the clam sauce was absurdly garlicky, so almost inedible. Side dishes and dessert also good. Service was excellent.

10/10 experience. Our server comped our pancake as a gift for my wife since we were celebrating my wife's birthday. What a kind and thoughtful gesture. The food was on point and I will definitely return.

Quaint little place.Big portions.Awesome staff.Seasonal menu.I tried two different pasta dishes. (which are entirely made from scratch)Fries. (The sauce yo)Focaccia bread.Chicken meatballs.Wagyu beef. All was delish. I will come back.Hopefully you get to meet Sarah, she is awesome. Make sure to tip the chef's!!!

This was our first time here and will be our last. The menu choices were limited and the food was bland. The pancake was heavy rather than fluffy, and the pistachio butter was greasy. Then to top it off, the service was slow and the manager rude. Would not recommend.

Food and service was fine. However a hidden 24% service charge is an unacceptable business practice. I’m all for paying employees a fair wage but it should be illegal to have a hidden fee that is not posted or even listed on the menu. If you are unwilling to raise food prices (transparency to customers) and unwilling to take the hit to your bottom line then you should shut down. I always leave a 20 percent tip but I couldn’t stomach paying 45% above the listed cost of my meal.

Food, service, atmosphere, ambiance - spectacular. Went for the first time and had an absolute wonderful experience . Cannot say enough about the food and Chef Joel. Highly recommend the pork chop!! Cannot wait to go again - soon!

Date Night @ The KenwoodWe thoroughly enjoyed our 1st trip to this hidden gem. Felt welcome from the moment we walked in. The service was outstanding- we couldn’t believe the number of servers per table (nice call – treat your customers right). We each enjoyed the potato & leek soup; the bacon & chives drizzle was spot on. The chicken & ricotta meatball pomodoro had a nice kick to it.For mains we were treated to a delicious pork chop (topped with truffle butter) and a duck breast with fregula that rivaled a Peking Duck meal we last had in a hutong restaurant in Beijing. The evening was fabulous capped off with carrot cake and a decadent flourless torte. Compliments to the Chef!

Love the food and the service. Prices are steep and they add 25% (before tip) for a Minneapolis service charge. Will be back, just not very frequently.

Went to this neighborhood gem for the first time last night with friends. What a find! My husband and I eat out in the Twin Cities and find different places each week, and this is now at the top of our list. Chef Joel is delightful and treated us like VIP's. We actually couldn't decided which dish we liked the best because they were all delicious - and you can tell the passion that goes into the food and presentation. Our waitress, Eve, was terrific and explained the mouthwatering menu in great detail. So excited to go back and introduce this restaurant to our friends. Also found out Chef will do special events in your home! We will be back!
