Lovely! The service is top-notch. We arrived a bit early and had cocktails at the bar. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Our dinners. We got popovers (of course) oven fresh and steaming. I had the salmon with a twice baked potato. The salmon was a tiny bit over, but the glaze and crust were divine so I didn’t care. The accompanying green beans were a pleasant surprise— well cooked, seasoned perfectly. My companion had the prime rib. He ordered it rare and it came medium rare, but again perfectly crusted and delicious. He very much appreciated the au gratin potatoes. Overall a great experience. Particular kudos to the staff, who made our whole anniversary dinner wonderful.

Great place to try. You won’t be disappointed!!

Reservations opened on Friday morning for that night, and it seemed like there were a couple tables always open. I parked on the street about a block away. The atmosphere is a little kitschy, and the chairs are on rollers. It took awhile to order but otherwise service was great. I ordered a medium rare top sirloin with a salad and augratin potatoes. My friend had the cod fish fry. Both were delicious, I would say my steak came medium vs medium rare. It definitely brings that "supper club" feel to Minneapolis.

Wonderful place. Not quite up to our benchmark, Ishnala, but excellent in its own way.My wife's Prime Rib was perfect. My Short Ribs too were excellent. Our guests Salmon and the Corn Chowder/Crab soup also excellent. The Old Fashions, a bit too sweet by WI standards. My Gimlet and Golden Cadillac were perfect.Very good service. We will be going again soon.

Overall, all of the food we had was great. Crab stuffed walleye, roasted chicken and salmon were superb. The grilled shrimp cocktail was excellent. The service was ok, but I think we expected better. The one thing we were disappointed in was the cocktails. The brandy old fashioned and Bacardi Coke were extremely watered down. They looked and tasted like they were made with water. There was hardly a brown tint to the drinks. The old supper club vibe is fun and we did feel like we were back in time, reliving the 1970's

Overall the service was not good. We received better service from the young man who refilled our water glasses. The food it self was medium along with the service. There were no recommendations on favorites or the “night “ special. I feel we could have received a better meal from the Best Steak House. IJS

Prime rib was very good, sides were done perfectly and the popovers came out extremely warm! Service was great as well. Very knowledgeable staff and friendly.I would recommend they put up some type of divider by their kitchen door so you don’t have to look into the bright windows of the kitchen if you get seated in the dark corner. That corner table by the kitchen doors should be used for last minute guests while the tables are packed, not a multiple days ahead reservation. We were able to move to a better table (since there were only 3 tables in use when we arrived) which made the experience 100 times better.

Absolutely delicious!! One of the best burgers I've ever had, and their butter cake is something to long for. I am not from Minneapolis and will be sad I cannot frequent this place. The atmosphere was fun and social. If you are looking for quite and intimate this may not be the place, but wasn't what we were looking for.

Top sirloin was tender and cooked to medium liking. Loved the ambience of the restaurant as it truly reminded me of a 70s/80s Wisconsin supper club. The WI brandy old fashioned was delicious and best I had in Minneapolis. Additionally the wait staff was there for every course, refill, and check in. As a WI transplant in the Twin Cities this is by far my favorite supper club and reminds me of my childhood. Can’t wait to come back myself and when Wisconsin friends visit! Great job, Creekside. Lovely restaurant concept.

I am not a foodie. The 3 different sandwiches and sides that my group had were all delicious. As was the relish tray. I am in the food service industry. We showed up on a Tuesday night without reservations. (Reservations were closed as they were at capacity.) We were greeted immediately and cheerfully as we entered. We were told that the wait could be 30 to 40 minutes. As we appreciated how cozy Creekside felt, we were told that our table was ready. It took less than ten minutes. The wait assistant arrived within seconds of being sat with water and menus. I was later told that she was scheduled to host that night but she was needed on the floor. She was cheerful and friendly and we never went without. My hat off to her.Our server was Zachery. Watching him serve in different areas of the two rooms, I am guessing that he picked up extra tables. That is only a guess because his service and attention to our table was excellent. His hospitality helped us feel "at home" comfortable. He is fun and answered all our menu questions. He even prophesied that I would not finish my French Dip Sandwich. He was right. I hope to see him again. On our way out, we were sincerely thanked for our visit. This was my first time at Creekside but it certainly won't be my last.
