I’ve been to Minnesota a handful of times, at the risk of sounding dramatic, I am yet to find decent food. Until today, El Patron is genuinely Mexican comida. The kitchen was spotless, food absolutely fresh!!!!! My mouth is still watering! The burrito was huge! The price was perfect. The owner/chef is energetic, excited and genuine. Great attitude and attention to cleanliness and detail.If you’re truly looking for authentic burritos, stop wasting money at the chain restaurants.Oh yeah,Try the Jamaica juice.A satisfied customer!

Fast service only if you call ahead to order otherwise it's kind of slow. The food was yummy and very flavorful. Birria taco had a good amount of meat and cheese, nicely fried, it comes with consome and the corn is cooked perfectly and has lots of seasoning.Restaurants is on a busy street with limited street parking.
The picture they have on there site is false it looks so good and done the right way I order birria taco today for lunch and this is the most nastiest birria I ever had sadly here is a picture to provide it my consume was not red it was light green with carrots at the bottom I that it suppose to have beef at the bottom my taco was nasty because the consume was nasty just nasty all the way around I will never order here again
Got door dash. Loved the carnitas, chicken, and shrimp tacos. The shrimp was so good with peppers and caramelized onion. Loved that they were served with two corn tortillas, cucumbers, radish, lime, and two delicious sauces. The chips and guacamole were very good also and one could tell it was housemade. He horchata is super good too! 5 stars!

WOW!!That’s what came out of our mouths when my husband and I tried Taqueria El Patron for the first time. Absolutely delicious! We couldn’t believe how delicious everything was.Our order: chorizo burrito, birria quesa tacos con consomé, nachos with salsa, guacamole, rice and beans, and horchata.I think we’ve finally found our go to Mexican food spot! I’ve had birria tacos in another restaurant on Lake St and this by far beats it. My husband and I cannot wait to come back! Plus, our server was so nice! I will be recommending Taqueria El Patron to everyone I know!
