Took my family out to get some tacos the other night and were refused service because they were closing early. Thier sign said they closed at 11pm, we got there at around 9:30pm. We went to both of thier food truck locations(uptown and Southside off of Lake st.) Why am I upset. Because we drove from Woodbury to these specific locations. The food is usually good which is why we were willing to make the drive. But great customer service and integrity goes further than just good food for me.

Yes, this place is dingy and the neighbourhood has turned for the worse. And this time it was so hot inside that sweat was dripping off my nose. But the tacos continue to be amazing—small corn tortillas with one of six meats, topped with onion, cilantro and radish. My favourite in the city.

The food was am Amazing! I love the feel of being in MEXICO. Everyone was so welcoming to Americans.I starred at every entrie that went past my face. I ❤️ every moment!

5/8/22 This place is amazing. I went to the truck on lake street and cedar. For my first time impression there was a long time, but the workers were able to get the orders out the way quickly. I was greeted by a welcoming cashier. I have to say the fastest cashier I’ve seen. The food was great. I had to comeback today at 12:20 am for a late night meal at the restaurant. 10/10 I’m coming back

I asked for extra cheese I. My chicken quesadilla and got a hunk of cheese! Like a pound,! 2nd time going here and the order is never right!

Taco taxi is a hidden gem of Minneapolis. One of the few places open late in the city. Taco Taxi is always fast, cheap, and delicious!

I just wanted some fast Mexican food that makes me wanna dance when I take a bite and this did it for me. It’s probably good I live far away cause I want to go back again and again. I ordered a steak quesadilla came with beans and rice. The rice wasn’t flavorful but everything else made up for it.

The tacos are great! If you're looking for great taste and great customer service would recommend this place

My young sister and I decided to eat here after a concert we attended. First, we called on the phone and someone picked up but didn’t say anything for 5 mins. So we decided to go inside at about 11pm on a Tuesday. Big mistake! We were harassed by a man outside the window making obscene gestures at us. A worker behind the counter stared at us and smiled creepily at us the entire time we were there. Also, we got 20$ worth of food according to their online menu and our total came to 40$ for 2 meals! The portions were great. But it did not taste like authentic Mexican food. It tasted like Mexican food you would get at a hospital cafeteria. I would not recommend going here!

I ordered two tacos, one carne asade and one al pastor. They weren't busy so the order was ready in 3 minutes. The meat was well seasoned, juicy, and tender. The al pastor was my favorite. The tacos were a bit on the small size, but for only $2 a piece, it was still a good deal.
