Yummy food, I particularly like their potato products (fries, waffle fries) and their employees are very friendly!
Stopped with a friend for a quick lunch before an appointment. We were one of three tables in the whole place. After ordering we waited over 30 minutes to get our food only for it to be wrong and the waffle fries were burnt beyond being eatable.
A staple of the university. Surprisingly great variety of beers. There's always something for everyone, not just IPAs and pilsners. Shout out to whoever orders their beers because it is just always excellent with great surprises. And the food is always decent. The bathroom is a little cringe but to be expected from a college bar.
This place was terrible. We waited over an hour for our food to be brought out to us and once it was, it was cold. The waitress didn't even bring it out to us, the bartender did saying "I honestly have no excuse on why that took so long". They also took another hour to bring the check out to us. I do NOT recommend at all. Yet the people around us were being served right away. Its just crazy how poorly everything was that night. NEVER AGAIN... I would give it zero stars if I could.

We went to Stub and Herbs and were immediately greeted by Sadie. Could not have left sooner. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by someone in my life. Will not be coming back. Such terrible service. Do not come to this place!
Classic college bar, food is great and excellent beer menu with lots of unique local microbrews.
Love coming down here. Lots of tradition, but, more importantly, great food and a good set of taps. Staff was great, food and drinks fairly quick for how busy.
Great service, good food. Had a tasty mushroom and swiss burger, fries and Grain Belt on tap. Cheese curds with ranch great appetizer. Definitely would come back.
Popular college bar that's been around for 80+ years. They always have a great bar selection and the food isn't bad. It's usually a little more relaxed than the other bars nearby. I have fond memories from college and as a graduate of the UMN I still go there for events, like Kill the Keg, with friends from time to time.
