Cute rooftop bar. Not too crowded but definitely busy. Came to celebrate my friend's birthday dinner around 8pm. After ordering our food, our server didn't come back so we were waterless the whole 2 hours there. The food was good and came out at a reasonable time. Personally, I'm not that big of a fan on their sushi rolls. They had way more rice than fish and other ingredients so the flavor was a bit off for me. After finishing our food, we were ready to check out but it did took a while to do so because they didn't have a lot of staff.
The steakhouse cheeseburger which featured wagu was very dry overdone while forgetting components when served (Bacon.. Can't forget bacon unless you are hungover all day). Fries were half soggy, half crisp. My salad was totally forgotten. The susi was sub-par. Drinks were meh and served in a plastic cup. Ooen until 11pm, which others are only open until 9pm which is the reason for coming. Our waiter had to be flagged down most times. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Overall it was a great experience. Service was great. The drinks were underwhelming for the price. Was not a fan of the automatic gratuity added to the bill. I would prefer to be responsible for my own gratuity. I actually would have tipped more than what was charged but simply because you forced the amount on me, I did not add to it. The veggie rolls were very good as was our entrees . My wife had the Sea Bass and I had the pork chop. I would say for the price, we have had just as good or better food for less. But it was a rest choice for a pre Orpheum dinner. I wouldnât rush to go back again but would not deter anybody else from going.
The food was great the server was excellent. I would definitely recommend it
Service was impeccable. I would eat there everyday, if it was in the budget. Itâs not cheap, but it had great value. The Tomahawkâ¦
Excellent food and service, however an expensive restaurant with plastic cups and 35% MANDATORY gratuity is not acceptable. I wouldnât recommend going here.
Service was not the best â could be because of short staffed but not too sure. I donât remember getting our water refilled there. Also asked one of the workers to help snap a photo, she said she was busy with a slight annoyance (which was perfectly fine) and said sheâd come right after she was done doing what she was but she never came. I only had the sushi there but Iâd go else where for it.
food and drinks were not great - service very slow
The food was very bad. I had the three lamb chops with mash potatoes, you could not even tell it was lamb with the quality of the meat. It just tasted like meat, zero lamb flavor (and I know what lamb taste like). I asked for medium rare and you could tell with how underdone and grey the meat was that it wad poor quality. My partner got the Alfredo which was decent, besides that four pieces of shrimp is an additional $12. Our waiter was very friendly and nice, food was just terrible and ridiculously over priced. Will not be going back.
It was a lovely day on the rooftop for a girls evening. We caught an earlier dinner, the vibes were great, the food was excellent in my opinion- I had a steak salad and the seafood Linguini which was so good that I actually finished it! We all loved our drinks too!
