This continues to be one of my favorite places for a hot drink or even a cold drink. I've always loved what they have in terms of choices and variety and it's just so different from any other cafe specifically because of their wide variety of tea focus. I truly wish there were more of these
We live down the bock, have been going to Sencha for years. Service and drinks are hit or miss.Writing because our family came in the other day and my both my daughters and my drinks were made wrong. I know because we've ordered it a million times. Brought up to the cashier and she wasn't having it, said I was wrong, wasn't willing to replace drinks- Or even my daughters.So I re-order my daughters drink and again, made wrong. That, and the bubbles were hard.When Sencha gets it right it's worth the money but after this experience I'm having a really hard time justifying being a patron when there's no shortage of tea spots in Mpls.

Got a royal milk tea w boba and asked for it to be less sweet. The barista was kind in answering my questions about sweetness levels, so that’s why I’m giving a 2 star rating.The drink itself was very disappointing compared to drinks I’ve gotten from other Sencha locations. The tea itself came out way over-steeped (super bitter), and the tapioca was not cooked very well (and like other reviewers mentioned, the flavor of the tapioca was also lackluster).
First time to sencha and it amazed me. We had mango and pomegranate shake with the boba. It tastes sooo good. About $5 for a medium size drink. For sure will go back to try other flavors
Saw the worker using water straight from the tap. Water quality in drinks is very important, at least have the decency to use refrigerated tap water. Ordered a large taro milk tea & she used powdered milk. Disappointing & flavorless. Will not be back. If you have the time go to Mumu Tea instead! BIPOCS do it better ;)
the staff person was very kind and even asked other customers to socially distance if not wearing masks. That helped me feel safe while ordering in person Drink was delicious; I will be back again!
I’m not sure why there are some low reviews- I liked the location and atmosphere and the drinks were great. The service was prompt and the staff was friendly. We’ll definitely be back again.
I really like their bubble tea and all the nice options. I'd honestly be here a lot more, though, if it wasn't such an incredible pain to get to if you're driving in from literally anywhere. Traffic and parking are awful. I know the uptown area is just sort of like that, but I really wish they had a couple more locations around town for those of us who don't live within walking distance.
