I ordered the curry fried rice and it was very dry. Also the stir fried silver thread noodles and that didn’t really have a lot of flavor. The only thing I actually liked were Sue’s egg rolls. Very much a disappointment because I usually love Sawatdee but this was my first time trying these meals. I’ll just stick with my original order next time!
When I lived in the Eden Prairie area, I totally enjoyed everything at the Eden Prairie location. It has been closed for a few years and I am now in Richfield. Tonight I ordered thru DoorDash. The Spring Rolls and the Pad Tai were as I remembered, wonderful. However the Calamari was terrible. I received 4 or 5 globs of french fried batter with a few rings of calamari. It was tasteless and inedible. I'll never order that again.
I live close and like to order their curry. It’s always a hit or miss which is concerning since it should be relatively consistent. This time they used water to make their Rama Thai curry stretch. I ordered extra tofu (+$2 more) and had 4 pieces of tofu in the whole meal.I plan on going back because I do like the food and it’s convenient but it’s 2/5 stars at best.
Visiting from out of town and ordered take out on our first night from Sawatdee. It was so delicious! We had curry, Pad See Ew, and Pad Thai, and egg rolls. It was all delicious! The staff was also super friendly and fun while we hung out to wait on our food. Would go again if we lived nearby!
This was my third time trying their food and it was about to be the last one but I changed my mind. It was absolutely delicious. My husband always orders fried rice with the spiciness level of 1 out of 5. I must say that the rice has never really hit the spot, it’s tasteless but my husband enjoys it.So this time I ordered the Pad Thai (spiciness 3) and it was just perfect! I cannot say anything bad about it.Also my husband said it was the best pad Thai he’d has in the twin cities.Service was good and our waitress was so kind!5 stars based on their pad Thai.
Not very shellfish allergy friendly. Had the chicken curry rice and it was delicious. Would have given more stars but I couldn't try much else. The wrap for the spring rolls were out of stock so couldn't have that either.
Muy buen servicio, empleados muy atentos.
We will not go back here. Our food was cold, I got a curry and it was uncooked and and not the spice level I ordered. Two of our friends said their food was also cold and not cooked through. There are so many other good Thai places we won't take a chance on this place again. My husband had the pad Thai and it did have good flavor.
Wow, what a waste of 40 frickin’ dollars.I ordered the broccoli fried rice, cream cheese wontons, Angel wings, and “Sue’s egg rolls.”The fried rice was overly sweet and spicy. I’ve had Thai fried rice before so I know it’s a little on the sweet side, but this way was too sweet. That and the spice made it taste really weird. Even weirder the chicken wings were bland, overly cooked, and spicy. Spicy food isn’t supposed to be bland. The cream cheese puffs were greasy, with “Sue’s egg rolls” being nothing more than those that you get from Sysco. They had no ginger, no spice, but lots of cabbage. Worse than the food was the stomach ache I had after eating this slip. This is supposed to be Thai food, but nothing and I mean NOTHING was Thai about it. An insult to the Thai delegation
Great food, great service!!
