I was here today with friends. They forgot my order. Luckily, I had a receipt. The staff did not believe that they had forgotten my order. When I shared it with the manager, Nikki, she took my receipt. I told her I would like it back. Mainly because I had a feeling that they might have forgotten my order a second time. Furthermore, Nikki gave me the side eye, when I inquired about my order being missed. There was no apology offered by any of the staff. Somebody needs to teach the staff, some basic manners
Matcha could've been much better for the price, same with the pastries.
Looking for overpriced food with an attitude? Consider Rustica. This place used to be a favorite of mine, but I won’t be back. First I waited for a long time for a coffee (because they don’t switch out coffee pots in a timely way — this has happened to me many times there.) Then I waited for a very long time for food. Turns out they were calling my name inside but I had ordered my food “for here” and was waiting outside with the number they had given me. When I finally figured that out, they brought out the cold food and wouldn’t remake it because they had “called my name”. Huh? They typically bring your food out to you (that’s the point of the number — for them to find you). Messing up people’s orders and blaming them for it? That doesn’t make for loyal customers. If you’re going to charge premium prices (and ask for tips on top of that), at least provide reasonably decent service.
Rustica is the best! Their bakery goods are all quality. So much so that I'm willing to drive 35 miles, one way, to buy birthday surprises for friends & family - and myself!
My daughter and I both had the chicken salad on their croissants. Remarkable! We're still talking about it. The Carmel pecan latte was a nice way to end our meal!

Staff were quick and helpful. The grapefruit Danish was delcious. Definitely a new favorite of mine. And the drinks were tasty too.
Fast, Friendly Service, Clean, beautiful options…but…We LOVE baked goods! I mean, who doesn’t? But we were really disappointed in what we selected. I picked the Grapefruit Danish that had about a tablespoon of Grapefruit filling and my husband picked a lemon poppyseed muffin. Though they are both stunning to look at the Danish really needed more filling than just the small pool in the middle and small rind on top and the muffin was dense/pretty dry with virtually no lemon flavor.I always feel bad writing a negative review because it is so clear this bakery is a work of love and lots of effort! I just was disappointed in the lack of flavor and moist quality of the muffin and the lack of grapefruit in the grapefruit danish. (the lamination and presentation/general buttery flavor was fabulous!)We look forward to trying again in the future.
I went at about 10am on a Saturday and it was very busy. I was excited to get a bostok (my favorite) but they are no longer making it, so that was disappointing. I had the monkey bread instead. It was good, probably would have been better if it was warm. The staff was all super nice and friendly!
Nothing tastes fresh here - everything tastes like it is DAY OLD - a bakery should have fresh items - but the prices are not day old - I would not be surprised if this place closes within 6 months or soonerSadly this place stopped selling blueberry muffins and walnut oatmeal cookies and replaced them with awful tasting replacements - what business would stop selling the best items on their menu - it does not make sense. Too bad the current management does not care. We can only hope they sell out and we get an owner that cares.
