Best brisket north of the Salt Lick in Austin TX. The chicken fried ribs are killer with a savory sauce. corn bread and house made pickles. Smoked chorizo is fantastic. cool ambiance and great service. Well done for a new location only a mo th into its opening. The baracho beans were good but lacked flavor. We will be back foe the Tecas twinkies.

Amazing southern food experience! Unreal is all I have to say! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The fried chicken at this place is the thing to get. It's so crispy regardless of which style you get. The Nashville style chicken was spicy and so tasty. They had some additional hot sauce to put on which was excellent. The waffle was perfectly cooked and had some delicious butter and syrup to go on it. The biscuits and gravy was buttery and delicious.

Prepare for food-lightenment by the power of a mountain of fried chicken ???First is the Southern Fried Chicken. It is by far the best chicken I’ve ever had. Such moist meat, and the crispy outside is absolutely ridiculous. They serve this Sweet Potato Habanero sauce on the side that is totally bomb too. Then the cheese curds, which shattered like glass to give way to the dripping melted inner goodness. And then the Hot Chicken and Waffles. Unbelievable. The dish balanced savory and sweet so perfectly. Every bite is an experience. This one left me shook. The Mac and Cheese was baked goodness. The Hush Puppies were lightly fried but freaking insanely flavorful. The Biscuits blew us out of the water. The Grits are cooked with white cheddar, an excellent complement to this southern fried feast. And then the Banana Cream Pie. Smooth, sweet, and made with fresh bananas, I immediately reacted audibly with an “mmmmmm!” ??This is the one, folks. The new favorite restaurant. And I believe it will become yours too, just a few bites in. Shoutout to Greta and Angel, the two who made our first Revival visit truly special!Check it out and let me know what ya think! ?

Excellent food with huge portions! Met the chef who was humble and grateful for our accolades! Will definitely go again whenever I'm in the area!

Great atmosphere and fantastic food! I had the spicy ? chicken sandwich + Mac n cheese, collard greens and lemonade. My server was amazing. Very attentive and sweet. Just got back from Miami the same day where the service was pretty bad everywhere I ate. So it was refreshing to have such amazing service again!

Very tasty food, nice and friendly staff. We tried the “whole bird”, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and cheese curd. All were a bit greasy, but very delicious. If you like spicy food, definitely get the Tennessee hot. The only negative point is the value — I think $36 for one fried chicken is pretty expensive for a metal chair, non-fancy restaurant.

We were a party of 6. We waited 12 minutes for a table. Not bad for Saturday evening at 7pm. We all started with Passionfruit Paloma drink and Fried green tomatoes. Tomato was cut thin and they served 5 per plate. Cheese curds were plentiful and tasty too served with Ranch. My 2 on Southern Fried White was perfectly fried and large bone in breasts. I took one home. Hubby had Chicken Nuggets which as large chunks of breast breaded & fried. The sides come in the perfect sized ramekin. We shared the sides because they were all so flavorful. Hoppin johns is black eyed peas w/rice, Bourbon carrots were sweet but delish. The Mac n cheese is creamy, cheesy goodness! A friend loved her shrimp n grits and butter biscuits. I will be back for that Banana Cream Pie and Mac n cheese.

We heard such hype that we had to give it two chances. both were disappointing. Chicken sandwich was blah UNLESS you got the tenessee hot, they ok. chicken was tasty enough if you like spicy. Sides were basically tasteless. desserts extremely limited. drinks WAY too small ($10 got about 1 ounce of liquid total in a glass jar packed with ice) and they were trying way too hard with the bitters etc...
