Awesome classic Uptown spot. Tons of character. You might get shot. Don't ever change, RD.
I’m sure the bar aspect is fine, but the food was expensive, small portions, stale & not that good overall. The rice was old and stale and the sweet & sour sauce was too on the sour side. The chicken I got was cooked well tho, if it wasn’t so expensive I wouldn’t be as unsatisfied. There also wasn’t rly enough for leftovers which is my fav part normally about ordering Chinese food.
My mom and I have been going to Red Dragon since I was a little girl. My mom orders the same thing every time. Even back then Shrimp and lobster sauce. I love the lo main. Great food. Great service. We will always come back as long until we can't come at all.
Always a fun place, but the food is not as good as back in the day.
I think I had the Wonderous Punch...but can't remember. I'm told that I really enjoyed it.
I really love this place but they have taken too much stuff off of the menu.
Best drinks in Town ‼️ Womderous punch gone have you like
Quick service at the bar. Great happy hour. Friday at 5pm bar was half full and filled up about 6pm. I ordered the sampler app for 2. Everything thing was cooked perfect. Side sweet and sour sauce was not my favorite, very thin. I use to make a late night stop before COVID and always loved the fried rice and share a huge wonder punch cocktail.
Just don’t go. I’m all for supporting small business but the service was okay, menus were dirty, table was sticky, just not very clean. Came in with a large group and the server forgot my order. No big deal, it happens but the food was actually terrible. I got shrimp fried rice and it did not taste like typical fried rice. I’m all for different restaurants getting creative with dishes but it was nothing creative about it and the rice had a weird taste and after taste. Definitely NOT worth the $16 they charge you for. More like, 8 if that. The mixed drink I got was good and strong so no complaints there. Even other people at my table who got other food items were not pleased at all. You can go elsewhere and get better food and service. Oh, and if you are a stickler for Covid protocol and masks, just keep on strolling. This ain’t it.
Red Dragon is a staple in the Minneapolis community! Whether you’re looking for a spot to chill with friends or enjoy a drink, this is the place. Never gets old! Order the Bottle Rocket; chicken wings, young chow, and cheese puffs. #thankmelater
