God this place has good wings. Really really good quality, even the ones that are just fried and covered in seasoning salt are amazing. And they're massive too-- a half order is only four and they still take up a whole plate. Really delicious tater tots too, super light and airy. Miss living a two minute walk from this place but still make a point of going anytime I'm in the neigbborhood.
I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time. First impression from my guy at the door was a bit off putting as the bouncer was a bit over the top. I sat at the bar and after waiting for a bit I went and found myself a menu. Finally the bartender notice me and took my order. I ordered chicken wings( buffalo style) and cheese curds. The cheese curds were quite good with a jalapeno ranch with a nice kick. The wings were a bit lackluster, they look kind of naked not a lot of buffalo sauce. The jalapeno ranch dressing was spicier than the buffalo sauce. I'd go back for the cheese curds but skip the buffalo wings.
We came into the restaurant almost at 9pm after our softball game on a Wednesday. They were just about to close down the dining area. We hand 8 people that needed to be seated and bar area was full. The went ahead and seated us in the dining are to accommodate us. The waitress there was named Mary and she did a great job for being a newbie. The food was the delicious and the drinks were cold. Thank you to the people at Ray J’s.
Actually Pretty Disappointed , The Woodbury Location Is Extremely Superior To This Establishment. I Will Not Go Back To This One . Barely Any Sauce On The Wings , Cold Fries , When I Told The Waitress She Blew It Off Didn't Say A Thing Even Shrugged , ... She Still Got A $15 Tip On A $60 Tab . Only Because My Friend Tipped .
I love this place! Beat happy hour in the Twin Cities! 3-7 everyday!!! Food is great, drinks are solid and the atmosphere lends itself to chatting with friends both inside and on the patio.
This place is pretty good. I've had 3 different types of wings here and they were all good. So far I recommend the Asian wings. Good service, chill environment, and good prices. By the way, the wings are HUGE!!!
Wings were on point! Great beer selection too. I can imagine it would be a great place to watch a game or fight.
First time here and I was pretty disappointed because I read in reviews the cheese curds and wings are awesome. The curds were way too crispy like some were just straight fried crisps of batter. The few good pieces were really good.. but not worth it. I took one bite of the drunken wings and the were SO SALTY and SO COATED in sauce it made me feel sick. The manager said they had them earlier and the sauce was prepared with a bad ratio of the asian zing but I guess they didn’t remake a better batch of sauce? The two specialty cocktails were straight sugar and the pic of what I took home explains the rest… dirty celery and these “blackened” wings just taste like salt. Maybe their other sauces dry rubs are good, the wings are big I give ‘em that but that’s about it. Server and manager was friendly. Host was super kind
The ambiance may be nothing special (standard, clean sports bar) but the wings are amazing. Much of their other food is great with a few unexpected things like their ahi tuna which is quite good. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have indoor and outdoor dining in the warmer months and a small parking lot.
This place was fantastic!! Our waitress was great and friendly. The food was delicious ? I loved the chicken wings, waffle fries and the cheese burger sliders. All there dips and sauces are made there. I am so glad my sister took me here for lunch.
