best of best place to be. definently defines Minnesota nice inna Jamdown aka Jamaican Caribbean style with authentic themes of African to American music. this place is honest and friendly. everyone seems like family members no matter if u jus walked in or a regular. best Employees, best food, best music, etc. parking is sometimes an issue but in 5 minutes everything always goes ur way. Longing for the taste of home and was told about this place. It was not what I expected. I don’t know if it’s a ? yaardie making the food or he left instructions for someone else because I am disappointed in the taste is the food. Not to mention the persons serving the food was all over the place and just throwing the food in the box and answering calls talking over the box of food in her hands instead of putting it aside and handle her phone call. The setting of the food in the plate was like “slap dash”. Meaning that you just grab stuffs and throw it in not caring where it lands. I was annoyed the whole time. SMH.

Pick up your food or dine in. But don't stick around at the rum bar anymore for true authentic Caribbean parties. Rude bartender and they don't want Caribbean music parties or Caribbean crowd there anymore.

visiting a friend in the Twin Cities, he recommended this place. I'm so glad we went a little out of the way to get here. Ordered takeout and brought it back to his apt. The heft of the takeout box was impressive and once opened I was pleased with the amount of food and saddened I couldn't finish it all as I was leaving later that day and couldn't bring leftovers with me. The Chicken/Pork combo in the One Love Special was perfect and the Sweet and Smokey sauce was a great compliment.
