LOVELY ATMOSPHERE, CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND FOOD! A friend of mine and myself went to eat there after work and goodness it was so worth it! I definitely recommend going there to hang out, go on a date with someone, etc.ALSO-- these people need a raise!
Omg what amazing food! I was just telling my daughter I wanted Pho and formed strong and the lord spoke loud and clear. It was her first time trying it and I have never seen her eat so intently. We will definitely come back again when my health allows it. I needed this day with her since I have gotten worse. The first little bit of sunshine in a dark 6 months. Thank you for your food, service and allowing u to spend time time together at your place.
I ordered take-out for some chicken fried rice and an iced tea. It was ready to go within five minutes and the staff were very helpful and patient. It is located very close to the University of Minnesota campus and the portions are generous! The tables and floors in the restaurant were spotless. Note: there is a 3% fee for using credit cards on orders less than $20, but there is signage communicating this in the restaurant as well as a reminder from the staff.
It was good to finally sit down inside. We usually get a few dishes with Doordash. Service was great, our server was all smiles. My Pho was good and hot. I had the large. Looks like they use the same portion as regular just more broth. But it was good. It's a bit pricey. Rent and taxes are higher on this block because of University? I don't know. It was $85 for 3 people. I will say this is the most I have spent on Vietnamese Food. We have eaten at some fine Vietnamese around the US and didn't pay that much for 3 people. Other than price, food was good Pho stayed hot in bowl for awhile. Service was excellent. Will probably fo back.
Năm sao vàng Việt Nam!The food here makes me miss Việt Nam. Their vegetarian dishes are reminiscent of what I would find on Vườn Lài street in Tân Phú District, Ho Chi Minh City. Overall great food finished with a wave of nostalgia and light homesickness. I highly recommend Pho Mai Dinkytown!
Ordered on DoorDash and everything was amazing - they even packaged the sauce separately from the chicken (sesame chicken) so that it was still crispy and not soggy. Egg rolls are incredible and pho was outstanding.AND - I love that the owner responds to rude reviews politely and takes the high road. More people need to understand that negative reviews highly impact a restaurant during a pandemic and instead of leaving a negative review, directly contact the business and see what they are willing to do to remedy the situation.Loved our food and we will definitely be ordering again! Thank you!
Amazing Pho and ultra generous servings. Wide selection for those maybe not in mood for soup. Nice attentive staff who kept us well cared for during our stay. Will be back!!
The egg rolls were AMAZING.The beef pho was good, with a lot of meat in it.Done of the tendon was a little too chewy, and the broth lacked flavor, but all in all it was really good.I would for sure go here again.
Got the tender beef pho regular size and the egg rolls. Holy cow I couldn’t stop saying Mmmmmmmmm! The broth was so great and the crunch on the egg roll was phenomenal! Give them a try! Great owner also came by and said hi. I’ll definitely Italy be back!
Best pho in Minneapolis. HUGE portions (big is very big) and affordable. Fast and great service. 12/10 will come back.
