I love this place! I've been there several time and never been unhappy with the service. Even on a day when there was a single person, and an entire Minneapolis strike group came. She held it together, explained that two people were out with Covid and that she would do the best she could. The staff and customer have always been warm and welcoming.So, why do I feel the need to review today? I just had a perfect cup of hot chocolate. The sort that you think about and wonder how to describe it so you can get exactly the same again in the future, but know it will never quite measure up. The type that makes you wish Start Trek replicators were a real thing.The morning waffle sandwich with eggs and sausage inside was also AMAZING! Totally a new breakfast spot for me!
I visited a few Sunday’s ago while staying my son who lives on 46th street. I used to live near the cafe 40+ years ago and it was a pleasure to sit, enjoy a wonderful waffle breakfast sandwich and caramel latte while reminiscing about my time in So. Mpls. I will surely visit again! Great service, friendly staff.
Right off the lake, excellent coffee, great patio. A gem for the neighborhood :-)
Always happy to find a good coffee spot. The coffee was one of the best cups I've had in a while, I even grabbed a bag to take home. The Ceasar salad was a good size and everything about it was fresh and delicious.
Amazing location, right next to the lake and 28th. The drinks are really good, my favorites are the smoothie and the Americano. The food is a bit pricey but very good, especially the sandwiches and wraps. The Greek wrap is a must try! Also has nice outdoor seating and a lively atmosphere.
This place is my go to spot for coffee, snacks, and much more. I love this place! Dennis and Mary are so nice and always greet me with a friendly smile.

I always try to stop in when on this side of town. I usually like a mocha, but here they have pretty amazing vanilla lattes. I'm not sure why or how, they are just really good.
One of my favorite places to go in my youth. Ice cream on a hot day or hot chocolate on a cold one makes me so nostalgic. The food and drinks are great here and reasonably priced. The staff is always kind. Check it out!
