New Rules was an amazing and affordable option to host my recent show "Planet Venus" highlighting femme & queer artists. I enjoyed both hosting and in the past attending the events here. My guests were very happy with the space and we had creative freedom to use it how it was needed. I'll be back for sure.

I had an amazing experience hosting my Birthday Party at New Rules. Ricki and all of the staff were great with communication and easy to work with. If anyone is looking for a unique and fun space for an event this is a great place to do it!!!
New Rules was host to our weekend workshop for 20 women. The room was bright with natural sunlight, and surrounded by vibrant local art, it created a welcoming vibe for our participants. Both Ricki our community manager contact and founder Chris were friendly and helpful, ensuring layout was exactly as we wanted. Parking was easy. Absolutely recommend this venue for events!
I just wanted to thank the People at New Rules again!! I used the space to hold my birthday party. Everyone loved the unique space they offer. They were super easy to work with and very responsive with communication and questions. I would highly recommend them as an event space.
This is a wonderfully unique open space with local art adorning the space. The food is fresh and simply wonderful. Salads and sandwiches plus a bar and wonderful art work? Yes! It is a multi cultural workplace. It is an event space for the community. It is a cafe and serves spirits. But most of all, it is wonderfully refreshing in North Minneapolis. I highly recommend.
Fresh juices are off the hook, tuna melt and seared ahi salad are on point. Everything about this place screams quality! It’s comfy welcoming and a wonderful spot to be inspired
Food is great, the art work rocks, the people are great, the atmosphere is urban cool- what more could you ask for? Yes, the prices are reasonable also!
New rules is one of my new favorite places in Minneapolis! Friendly staff, amazing, fresh food, and a great aesthetic!
