Wow. I haven’t had pastry as wonderful since I was in France. Light and fluffy, full of flavor??. Please don’t ever leave Stillwater. You’re good pastries are amazing.
My wife and I went for breakfast. You order and pay at counter. That way they get your tip before you find out there is no service and quality is bad. Started with coffee and pecan roll. You pick your coffee up at the counter. If you want sugar or cream, you go to front of store and get it from containers that many people handle. I had fried eggs and chicken sausage. The sausage was tasteless. My wife had the sausage gravy over rosemary biscuits. The gravy was good but biscuit was so tough that it was hard to cut it with a knife. There are no coffee refills. Over $30 for this. Could have had much better at McDonalds for 1/3 the price.
Highly recommend the roast chicken sandwich! Fresh tasting ingredients and excellent bread. Would recommend the side salad instead of the potatoes.
Cute cafe. We came for breakfast and had the farmers breakfast and scone. In my opinion, it's hard to mess up breakfast. The sourdough toast was very good and was toasted on the grill. Yum. The scone was a bit overdone on the bottom but still very tasty. Our table was near the door so it was pretty chilly when the door opened. Worth a visit
First impressions - VERY impressive! Stillwater was our honeymoon destination way back in 1985. We are back and our inaugural stop for brunch here was amazing! The highly rated quiche did not disappoint. My wife couldn't stop "tasting" it. Fun setting - quaint country French - and the place was packed! Even on a very blustery spring day. The locals here sure must like it too!
Have been going here every weekend because it’s so good!!
Enjoyable experience. The Farmer's breakfast was good, about what you would expect from a relatively basic dish--a safe bet for someone without an adventurous palate. The Swedish Reuben was tasty with a shout out to the quality bread. The 7-layer bar was good, but not spectacular--would try a different dessert next time. The shop has two levels, but the upstairs is reserved for workers.
Sandwich was massive. Coffee was good. Overall good places for breakfast but watching for the portions!
Cute little cafe in downtown Stillwater.Pros: the food is delicious, and reasonably priced. They also have some great sweet treats. The cafe is located near other little stores and shops.Cons: parking can be an issue. I had to park a few blocks away.
