First time trying Midori’s and I absolutely loved it! Everything was incredibly fresh, and delicious. Extremely high quality for the price. Definitely coming back!
Order took well over an hour, which was fine, but when we showed up at the pick up time it turned out they had missed our order and we had to wait 20 minutes in the parking lot. They threw in a free soup as an apology. All of this could have been forgiven if the sushi and sashimi were any good. It was very disappointing for the price point, we've had better and fresher sushi from the grocery store. Maybe it was a fluke due to pandemic, but we are going to give them a while to get resettled in before trying them again.
i really appreciate that all the vegan options are clearly marked, and the food is always delicious. Favorites are the garden roll, veggie gyoza, and kaiso salad.
Midori's Floating World Cafe serves delicious Japanese food. The new (and only) location for CARRY OUT SERVICE ONLY is 3425 East Lake Street, Minneapolis.Indoor dining will be announced when available
Absolutely delicious. Beautiful preparation and presentation even on to-go orders. So tender, and fresh, and flavorful.
Midori's is my go-to for best sushi in the Twin Cities! Exceptional quality. I look forward to them reopening in their own restaurant again soon, but the weekend take-out option from Seward Cafe is very easy and worthwhile!
Really good quality!
I needed a treat, and did I ever get one in my bag of takeout tonight from Midori’s Floating World Cafe (in their temporary Seward Cafe location). The dumplings, entrees, and dessert were exquisitely prepared, with flavorful sauces and broths. Glad I splurged on the Daifuku: it was a little work of edible art. This food woke all of my senses for spring. I’ll be back.
We ordered vegetarian sushi platters, tempura, some sides and mochi daifukus for dessert. It was a feast for the price and everything looked so nice. This was one of the best takeout experiences I have had during COVID. They are worth the little extra time it sometimes takes them to get all the details for you. What a treat! (I plated the pick up order in the photos)
We ordered sushi and sashimi from here for the first time tonight. We really enjoyed the variety of fish that came with both, and the cost was very reasonable. We ordered ahead and picked up at the Seward Cafe. So glad to get to support this business in hopes of getting to go back and eat in person at the restaurant when they are open fully again.
