We split the Super veggie sampler between two people and easily finished it. Would have liked a little more, but all part of it was very delicious. It seemed like they did a really good job with acid levels that put dishes over the top. The sampler had a nice variety of flavors and we both had different dishes that were our favorites.

Got introduced to the restaurant a few years ago by an acquaintance from Africa and have been going there from time to time ever since. The food is always delicious and the meat/veggie combo sampler a favorite. The coffee is a treat. The owner and staff are always friendly. Thumbs up!

Don’t let the nondescript location surprise you! This place is amazing. The kitfo was delicious- slightly creamy from spiced butter but with a bold (but not overwhelming) kick from the berebere. The vegetarian combo was also a stand-out…a wonderful palette of flavors and textures ranging from the garlicky crunch of cabbage to the deep hues of the lentils cooked in turmeric; the whole was truly greater than the sum of its parts

AMAZING food! I wish we would have known it takes a while to prepare the food because we had tickets to a comedy show across the street. That was our fault though we should have prepared for extra time just incase. We got our food 15 minutes before the show started and had to scarf it down. My husband and I are going back this weekend to actually sit and enjoy the food. Very excited for it!

We absolutely love the food here. It's a haven for vegetarians. The Veggie Samplers are a must try. As a South Indian, I feel Injera is the closest that a foreign food can get to our staple Dosai. It's amazing that some of the Veggie sides served with Injera also resembles what we have back home in India - be it the greens or the cabbage or the lentils. Comforting and Healthy Food. Also, their Coffee is one of the best I have had in MN - Strong and freshly brewed. The service is friendly.

Come for the food, not for the service. After enjoying their flavorful, delicious food as take-out, we looked forward to dining in. The food was great but the service was friendly but slow, unprepared, and frustrating. Our party of six had reservations as recommended, but no table was set up when we arrived at the nearly empty restaurant. The waiter initially put together two round tables, an awkward setup under any circumstance, but really poor for a shared platter and for conversation. We eventually settled on two rectangular tables end-to-end, with two rows of three facing each other, better but still awkward. There was no beer or wine list, and the waiter couldn't name or describe the Ethiopian brands that were available. Once ordered, our beverages took a long time to be served. We think someone may have run down the street to the liquor store to get Chardonnay for one person in our party, as we had been told that no wine was available. No second round of beverages was offered. Our food was ordered in two rounds, as suggested by the waiter after we expressed some indecision, but this awkwardly prolonged our meal with a lengthy waiting period in the middle between orders. Dessert was never offered, no boxes offered for leftovers, and no tab was provided at the table. We eventually gave up waiting and paid at the counter.Highly recommended for take-out or parties who already know what to expect.

The food wasn't what we asked for we said no spicy and guess what that's what we got and some other food are real salty

Food was great and the service was even greater! Good authentic vibe

Hands down the best Ethiopian in the Twin Cities! Love chatting it up with the owner/manager when dining in! Great delivery also! Eat here! Lovely location right on Hiawatha!

The building looks odd but it's very nice inside. The food was fresh, great service and reasonable prices.
