Stopped here since it was in walking distance of out airbnb and I'm so glad we did. Waitress was so friendly. Had a Rachel sandwich never heard of it but was delicious. She even accepted our weird drink requests. Friend had the roast beef and looooved it

9pm Tuesday. Food? Good. Prices? Reasonable. The waiter however was totally clueless. Ask before you take away half full drinks. Maybe stop by after drinks to see if we want food? Maybe check in after a few bites. How many bartenders serve cocktails with zero fruit wedge!? Wake da Politeness up puh-leeze. Reality bites.
Great bar food specializing in roastbeef sandwiches. Slacks is a legendary staple of northeast Minneapolis. Otherwise many of other great choices in the menu just like their wide selection of beers on tap.
Phenomenal service! The bartender with the green hair was awesome and definitely played the best music!! Will be back at least 13 or 14 times.
Great food! The Original was the thing to get but the Spicy Beef was delicious as well. They have a good beer list as well. It's a nicely kept up old bar with a stage in the side room and games.
Nostalgic bar - great onion rings!!! Had the mini burgers and Cuban sandwich - both were excellent! Pop was a bit pricy at $3/per person (free refills though).Conveniently located to the Ritz Theater on 13th!
i ordered the "famous dip sandwich" because I was told by a woman working behind the bar that the sandwich was HUGE. I was planning to give it to my boyfriend and daughter to split for lunch, but when we opened up the carryout box, it was two tiny little circular buns and a mound of meat! I could not believe that they really charged over 16 dollars for that! its a complete rip off... and after being told it was HUGE by an employee, it almost seemed as though it's some big joke around there and they all are sittin back laughing at the stupid noob that ordered the 16 dollar finger food and waiting to see what my reaction would be... boooooooooooooooooooooo
Place has great food AND Hamm's on tap. That's a 5/5 if I've ever seen one. Waitstaff is attentive and helpful. Sandwiches are goat, last time I got the Mayslacks pizza, which I recall being very good. I was kinda drunk though.
